Bell Jar or Cloche Collection

What is it about these bell jars or cloche as some are called.  They are little greenhouses
that are now making their way into the cottage home to show off many different things.
I like them standing alone or with an item underneath.  Whatever you place under the cloche doesn't matter because it suddently takes on an aire of importance.  A simple shell or small trinket becomes a work of art when it surrounded by all the sparkling glass.
Here are few that I have arranged on my entryway table.
Enjoy.

You are so right about little items taking on an air of importance under glass....I have a couple of matching cloches that each hold one of my vintage alarm clocks...they do look like works of art under that glass! Your shells look very nice on the entryway table.

Very nice use of the cloches. First time I've seen or heard of them; had a French ring so I looked it up. Indeed it is old French for bell. You have a lovely site. I'm a new follower visiting from SITS. Happy Friday!
