Pink Saturday Icecapades!

Just couldn't resist buying these ice skates for $5.00.  They were kinda dirty white, so I decided that they really were meant to be pink, of course!  I added a little fur at the top, gave them some sparkly laces and a little sparkle toe flower and I think they are
so shabby chic!  What do you think pinkies?  Wouldn't this be a wonderful Christmas display stuffed with holley and greenery and hung on a garden gate or front door or anywhere!

Welcome to Pink Saturday Sissie! Love the skates although I wouldn't get much use out of them, I've only been on the ice one time and stayed near the side! Have a Happy Halloween weekend!

Hi Sissie!
Welcome to Pink Saturday. I so love your ice skates with the pink color, beautiful laces, and also the sparkle on the toe. Just gorgeous. I have my skates tied together and hang the string over a nail by my front door. Everyone sees them on the way out, and I have found them to be quite the conversation piece. I have never ice skated in my life, but just loved the cool feeling that I felt when I looked at them. They have drawn so much attention to themselves hanging on the wall. You cannot imagine.

Have a wonderful Halloween tomorrow (or rather today already). I have signed up to follow your blog. I can't wait to see where you take us next. Please stop by my blog, I would love to have you follow also. Country hugs, Sherry

These are terrific. My granddaughter (even at age 2) loves pink. Her babies are all called "Pink Baby." She would have such a grand time with these skates. Thanks for sharing them.

Welcome to your first Pink Saturday, Diana. I can see that you are truly a lover to pink. I added myself as one of your followers, and I hope you will follow my blog, too.

These are the prettiest ice skates I have ever seen. I can imagine a lovely young lady gliding over the ice in them.

Oh my goodness what a "cute" pair of Pink ice skates. I used to have a blue pair of skates just like this; but paid much more than $5 for them. Sad to say my ankles were not strong enough to be a good ice skater; but I gave it a go anyways. I certainly am fond of your Pink Saturday post.

Those are FAB-U-LOUS! Last year I bought some hand painted vintage iceskates from a vendor on etsy. I plan to put them on my front door wreath for Christmas. They aren't a pretty pink like yours though but that's okay 'cause pink wouldn't work on the front of my house. HPS ~ Lynn

Welcome to Pink Saturday! I love, love, love those pink skates! They look magical, like if you would put them on, you'd be able to skate like a pro! can't you just see the pink sparkly swirl that would come out of them when you're out on the ice? tee hee! well, it's a lovely pink fantasy anyway (for someone like me who would love to be able to skate like a pro!)

Have a lovely pink weekend!
