Come on in, have a seat, it's Pink Saturday!!!!

Once upon a time this sweet little chair was just plain awful looking.  In fact, it probably would have ended up at the local dump had I not rescued it!  It was a creepy brown color with a fake leather seat cover.
Five thousand staples later and three cans of creme colored paint......this little chair gained new life.  I had some pink silk fabric that I've been dying to use and it just seemed fittin for this chair and for Pink Saturday.

I also shabbied up the paint job a little to give it some character.  I think it came out pretty nice and tomorrow it goes to the shop for someone else, I hope, to love happily ever after!

Be sure and visit Beverly at "How Sweet The Sound."  We have her to thank for Pink Saturday fun.  Just click on her button to the right.

Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, I had a resection also, but no cancer TG thus far. How old is your son? I am on Asacol that has had me on control pretty well for quite some time. I had surgery last year to remove some very debilitating scar tissue that had accumulated & the gastro misdiagnosed as an active Crohns flare ... the Dr. got fired, the surgeon got a hug of gratitude & things are better. I so hope that your son will be better. I shall continue to remember him.

G'morn Sissie ~ It is hard not to have an attitude with this disease, as with most diseases ... but once you shake yourself off & get on track attitude plays a big role in success vs defeat. Maybe you all would like to discuss the Asacol with the Dr. next time. At least I have a decent life with this med vs the horrible first years of Prednisone which did absolutely NOTHING for me at all.

Bless him, I hope things will come along better for him. Do stay in touch, my friend.
Hugs & have a great weekend. TTFN ~Marydon

Hi Sissie,
What a wonderful transformation. Love the pink fabric you use on the seat. It is just the best feeling when you can see the beauty in something that everyone else thinks is dumpster worthy. Love it. Have a wonderful weekend.

I do love it! I also love your living room. I noticed you don't have a rug which is a dilemma I've be considering. It's not good with dogs, but I feel like I need it. NOT so...yours looks wonderful without one.
