My latest greatest find......ooh-la-la-la-la......tres chic!

Look at this mirror I found at a flea market booth.  She was having a 40% off sale!!!! That's right 40% off !  Of course, a girl cannot, I tell you, cannot pass up a deal like that!  Do I hear an amen?????
It only cost me $19.!!!

I did have to add one of those rub-on fleur-de-lis lovelies.
I swear, I am in love with these things.  I've gone crazy
putting them all over everything.....somebody stop me!!!!

Here's a little project I'm working on....ANOTHER PILLOW!
I'm not kiddin yall when I tell you that I have a thing
for pillows and they are all over my house.  My husband is
constantly saying...."what's with the pillows....they always
get in the way."
He just doesn't get it. (sigh)

I need a little help trying to fufu up this one.
I added cut cotton trim and then
tacked on the little doilies on
the sides.  I'm thinking about
adding some fancy little buttons or maybe a piece of
jewelry in the center of the doilies.
Any suggestions??

~~~~~~
Found this too.  I think it could be used as a candy dish
or trinket holder, or whatever.  I tied a valentine
ribbon around the top and put it in my booth.
I think I'm going to fill it with those candy hearts.
I found it at GW.......shhhhhhhh!!!
Ok, that's it.  What did you find this week while
out treasure hunting?????
~~hugs~~
Oh, Sissie, that mirror is to die for!!! I love the little cherub candy dish, too cute!!!
Do you have any buttons that have bling in them? Or how about some pink ribbon tied in a bow?
No shopping for me this week, but I did do a makeover, a picture frame into a vanity tray!
Bonjour Sissie,
You did put a little ooh la la in your life with that gorgeous mirror. Your fleur-de-lis are so great, how can you resist?
So far I have not completed any projects this week but my brain is full of ideas that are trying to get out!
Candy hearts would be perfect!
ooooooh la la is right! What a find and it looks great with the Fleur Thingy! So, you say you have enough pillows for an All Out Pillow Fight? The one you spiffed up is toooo pretty to mess up in a pillow fight! Haven't been shopping this week, but it's only Tuesday. I've been revamping my sewing and quilting room....now two rooms!
Okay everyone does buttons and other bling on pillows. Try adding a cluster of yo-yo's or puckers as they are also called, for something different.
The weather has been too bad for me to do much shopping this week. I am looking forward to getting out and about soon. I hope I can do half as well as you. You really did good. I love your pillows. You have some very nice ideas.
Sissie I love to come over here and see what you've been up to. How you inspire me...and now you are inspiring me to shop. Seriously girl...$19! I love the pillow and I know that whatever you do to it, Iwill love it even more. My husband doesn't get the pillow thing either, but he has become very tolerant of them now, since I love them so much.
I haven't had a chance to do any shopping this week and I'm envious of your finds. Hopefully I'll find a little time over my lunch hour tomorrow to hunt down some treasures.
I love the mirror and the candy dish! Beautiful job on the pillow (as always)
I just love your great finds! You and I must be going to a different GW, or else you are getting the good stuff before I get there! LOLOL! The little cherub dish is precious! And that mirror...gorgeous!!! Your pillow creation looks fabulous, too! My husband fusses over pillows! LOL! He tells me often, that if I go first, there will NEVER be another pillow in this house! :)
Is Miss Minnie's open on Sundays? My parents have a "weekend" place at Sunset Harbor, and I thought I could catch them for lunch one Sunday after church, and then visit your store. :)
Hi Sissie,
Thanks for coming by and giving the advice. I will keep my eyes open for some bedding bargains and hopefully get it looking more shabby.
I love your new mirror! What a great deal you got on it. I haven't been in a thrift store in while.. I think I will take myself to goodwill today and look around. Again, thanks for the advice.
Blessings and hugs!
Yes I do love you ladies a lot to go to town to the library. Too bad they don't stay open 24 hours.
Thanks for checking on me and leaving a sweet comment
Oh for your pillow I would think what your thinking about would be pretty. Or some of those little dainty embroidered roses or flowers that you can buy or make would be great on this pillow
Ok I give you a big Amen. And the one on the bottom, I can see it painted in a creamy ivory. I'm sorry if anyone else has said this, I'm so pressed at this desk I didn't have time to read the comments. XXO 'ya, Mollye
Looks like you've been finding some beauties lately. I'm really trying to clean out, so until then I'm holding off on thrifting for right now. I'm sure it won't last long. LOL
I found the photos in your post this week! Imagine you asking for suggestions about what little pretty you can put in the center of a doily on an exquisite pillow! I can't!
Imagine me answering! Something sparkly and small - a rhinestone button or pin.
Why have you no etsy shop? We can't shop at your store, but we could shop at your etsy shop.
Wow, that's a stunning mirror!
And don't feel bad about your husband "not getting it", mine doesn't either. I think you oughta just tack one of those fleur-de-lis on his forehead. ;-)
Hey thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement on my blog!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Sissie,
Amen...hallelujah! Girl...you got yourself a fantastic deal! I was at Wally World yesterday and picked up some rub-on fleur-de-lis, I had to have them after seeing your other post!
I would add some lovely vintage bling to your pillows, I think that would look lovely.
I keep meaning to put you on my blog roll...heading out now to do that pronto!
Love and hugs,
Karyn
