Pink Saturday Fun

Hello Pinkies!!  Isn't Pink Saturday so much fun? We have Beverly to thank for all this pinkie goodness.  Be sure you go over to her
blog and check out all the lovely posts.

I'm startin out with the pillow thing again!  Yep, I just realized what I have to go through every night just to get in bed.  This stack is what I remove from the bed every night!  Now if Mr. Sissie gets there first, that's another story.  Hard to tell where they end up after he says @#&%!*#!  Oh well, doesn't bother me at all, nope not one bit.  You know why??  Because their PINK !!

While I'm on the subject, I think I'll keep my Pink focus on the Pink in my bedroom.
Like, dreamy vintage sheets that feel like silk and so lovely to the touch.  I love them and if they have a monogram, I have to have them!  These I bought from Ms. Stephanie at Miss Minnie's, long before I had a booth.  She gave me the best deal ever!
I often wonder whose initials were these and did they receive these sheets as a wedding gift, or have them made for themselves??????

This Monet reproduction print hangs in my bedroom,
I just love the garden with the pink flowers.  I have to fight with myself everyday to keep from painting that dang gold frame.
I want it white, but I am resisting for fear of messing it up!

I even have a pink princess phone and a pink alarm clock!

I'm going to leave you all with this.  While rummaging through some stuff, I found this little book that I gave to my son
many years ago.  I had written inside "A great lesson to
carry throughout life."
It's the much-loved tale of a stuffed animal's
quest to become Real.
Written in 1922......The Velveteen Rabbit affirms the
power of love.
The Rabbit learns that "when a child loves you, then
you become Real."

If you haven't already, be sure and read it to your children
or grandchildren, or just read it yourself.
You'll be glad that you did.

~~~~~~
Happy Pink Saturday Everyone!
~~hugs~~
Good to see all your pretty pink pillows and other bedroom pinks. I like the gold frame, but with the way you do everything with such flair, don't be afraid of messing it up. It's been so long since I read the Velveteen Rabbit. Thanks for the reminder...my Grands will love it, too. Happy Pinkday!
Hey Sissie, Each time I read about Mr. Sissie I crack completely up! Love all the pinks and do not. Repeat Do Not be afraid of ruining the frame or painting. Just pop the frame off and grab that white paint. It will be gorgeous to go with the painting inside. Love the phone and clock. A princess phone for Princess Sissie. Love your Pink Saurday Post and your wonderful blog design. Happy pink Saturday 2U! I would adore any (or all) of your pink items in my bedroom- (big grin). I bought a lovely vintage pillow case at the local thrift just yesterday, which I plan to put on my post next Saturday. It has hand made lace with Pink ric-rac interwoven. A couple of stitches where it was coming off, and it's perfect again. Just $1! I will put you in my next pink post, and hope you come by to see mine. Hugs!
LOVE the Velveteen Rabbit! I read it to my kids too. My mom read it to us when we were kids.
Lovely as always, Sissie. I can no longer see the color pink without you coming immediately to mind! Really!
How come you don't have an etsy shop? Haven't I asked that before? I'm such a big etsy supporter. I could use a cloche or two.
LOL I thinks it's funny - the "bed scene" story. Oh it enclosed in quotes cause we're talking pillow here :-)
I have not read the Velveteen Rabbit, not even when I was young. And based on what you said I think it is a precious book to have. I will have to remember it just in case I come across it.
Belated PS!
