Silver Sunday Goodness

Silver Sunday.....doesn't that sound nice?  Well, it has been very nice and it is here again and round two will be even better.
I think that silver sort of fell out of the decorating scene for awhile, but there is no evidence of that here in Blog Town.
I've seen some lovely Silver Sunday posts.

I found this lovely silver three tiered serving piece at
GW's......it was a steal!

This lovely silver, including some hammered silver,
can be found at Miss Minnie's Antiques
Just a wooden bed tray, found while thrifting.
I painted it white and added the famous
Sissie Fleur-de-lis
and a silver vase with some roses

I have had my eye on this sweetie for quite some time.
It's also in one of the booth's at Miss Minnie's.
I'm sure it won't last long.

To see more lovely silver just go over to our sweet host, Beth at
Gypsy Fish and feast your eyes on
excessive silver bling!
~~hugs~~

Oh Sissie Sweetie...
Look at all your beauties. I love the three tiered service tray. I remember my Grandma had one, and I always thought she must be really rich to have something so beautiful. Little did I know that she was very poor and it was an anniversary gift from many years gone by that she treasured and only brought out at the holidays or special occasions. My it was beautiful. Much like yours. I love the pink marshmallows and pink roses. Oh Sissie you have such a beautiful way of making things look so gorgeous. I love it.

I love that pitcher as well. Isn't it just grand? I don't think I could work in the place that you do. I would be buying everything. I would never be able to leave all the beautiful things. It would just be to hard for me. To mnay beautiful pieces for sure.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful day with me. I so love it when you do. Oh my goodness this post is beautiful, just breathtaking Sissie. Thank you.

Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

Hi Sissie and I love all of that gorgeous silver! Living near the water is so hard on silver that I really don't display my pieces much anymore. I keep them tucked away after I polish them which is really a shame. You've inspired me to get them out and to enjoy them. And I love your little wooden tray and signature Fleur de Lis!

Sissie, How much is that Hotel Silver pitcher? Wouldn't you love to be my personal shopper? And yes, I'm serious. Suppose you were to find me this and a couple of other pieces. I would pay you a finders fee and cover all the shipping costs. We could do it through a reserve post at your etsy shop. Please let me know.....
