A Funky Find and Playing with Picasa

Hi Bloggerettes!  Check out the ruffles on this.  Bet you can't guess what it is.....bet ya!

I was at a yardsale on Saturday and it was hanging from a tree.
Seems the owner used to be a Square Dancer and was selling off all  her fancy, smancy, dancin petticoat crinolines.
Moi, being the lover of all things girlie, rufflly and frilly,
just had to have this.

I just discovered how to edit my photos at Picasa.
So, I have been goin a little crazy...
Here's a corner of my booth at Miss Minnie's

Another little corner....

A silver vingette on my diningroom table...

I just finished making this burlap runner.  It has a large ruffle on both ends and it's long and weighty.  So pretty.
I haven't decided yet whether I am going to add an image...
still thinking....

Should be in my etsy shop soon.

Well, that's it.  I'll be back soon with some more ramblings.
I'm so glad that you are all my friends.  Oh, how I love
you!!

~~hugs~~

The crinoline is so pretty Sissie. Are you going to sell it as is or do you plan on making something out of it. I could see you whipping up a pretty pillow or something out of that. Haven't been doing much by way of thrifting, the flu bug has hit us pretty hard and we're still recovering. Take care and keep up the creative work. PS. Thanks for adding me to your sidebar :)

You are so sweet, Sissie! Love the ruffles and I'll bet you could make some pretty things out of it, too. Love the runner ~ I think I'm going to have to get one soon. I just played with Picasa last week to try and clear pictures up. I'll have to play with that softening, blurred look ~ maybe on a picture of me! : )

Hey Sissie,
I'm home from vacation. Changed my panties, saw a heart specialist & now I'm catching up on my Sissie posts. What a great find!! I can just see the wheels spinning. Could it possibly be disassembled & made into pillows??? Whatever you do it will be amazing! Lisa

The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and
tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be
a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views.
I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
