On the Hunt for Pretties!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I have been on the great hunt for pretties to put in my booth.  Most I have to paint, so I will show you those later.  So, I haven't much to post about.  I think I'll take some time this evening and blog hop.  I am looking for some inspiration and that's one sure fire way to get it!

Here's a few pillow creations I 've been working on.  A funky burlap pillow.....
A french lace pillow.  The beautiful black lace was sent to my by a very special blogger friend....

I found this mirror at the church sale the other day and it was an ugly brown color, so out comes the white paint and there ya go!

Well, I'm outta here.  Got to fix dinner and then take some time for blog hoping!  See you in the funny papers!!

~~hugs~~

Hi sweet Sissie,
It is always a delight to visit you! The burlap pillow is so lovely and the Paris pillow is gorgeous! The black lace is the perfect accent for the sweet polka dot fabric. Love the flounce and flowers too! The mirror is fabulous! It is amazing what white paint can do. I have a large mirror in my parlor that had a brown frame, so my dear hubby painted it white and it looks so much better! Your mirror has such pretty details and they really stand out with the white paint! Love, Paula

Who would've thought a ruffled burlap pillow could be so gorgeous? Why Sissie, of course!

Everything is simply wonderful, but that mirror…ooh, la, la, love it.

I'm not signing up for your fabulous giveaway, I've been the lucky winner several times recently and I don't want to be greedy (really, I do, but momma and daddy taught me well).

I'm slowly decorating my new place and just have to tell you what an inspiration you've been my dear. Could you please tell me what kind of paint you used for your mirror. I have several things that need touching up and I want to get it right the first time. Thanks, so much!

Sissie, you make the most gorgeous things!!!! Do you have Ross stores near you? I love to check out their clearance section for feather pillows (even if the outer cover is hideous) I can get a wonderful feather insert for about 6.00 or 7.00 ~ I rip off the ugly cover a sew my own slip...I hope you're having a great weekend sweetie, hugs and love, Dawn
