Thrifty Finds

Hi Bloggerettes!  There were yardsales and church sales all over the place this weekend.  The first one I went to at 7:00am was a bust, so I grabbed an egg and cheese bisquit and big ole sweet iced tea and headed for the next one!  A girl needs energy ya know.

Now, we're talkin.  How bout this sweet feedsack pillow and great white wire basket!

Also, found the sweet woven basket and added
some wheat grass....

Found this sweet cane chair already painted white! Yes!
All I did was recover the seat with a piece of  blue and white toile.

I have a thing for wooden boxes, I know, I know you have them too.
Anyway, I spied this one at a yardsale and it was a dark brown wood.
Not anymore!!!  Heirloom white to the rescue!  I'm thinking it will make a nice flower box or anything box.

Made it around to a few more but just couldn't take the heat.
Got up to 95 with 100% humidity.....eeekkkkk!!

So what wonderful treasure did you find?

be sure an go over and check out everyone's great finds
and creations.

~~hugs~~

You find the neatest things! The other yard salers and garage salers must not have good taste because you always seem to buy the neat things!

Adorable little wooden box, very pretty in Heirloom White (Sissie, we should own stock in that company!) and I really like the little grain sack pillow, too! I'm really REALLY diggin' the toile covered chair!!!

Would you believe that I didn't go to one sale this weekend? Gave it all up for the chance to sit by the pool and steal kisses from my little grandson!! :0)

Hi Sissie, you found some wonderful things. I keep seeing Heirloom White from everywhere, does that come in a spray paint? I should get some..I love that color..
We don't have many yardsales around here, at least not now, too hot...i didn't really check any out this past winter but there are a lot of estate sales and I bet there are some good things to be had. Next winter!
Have a blessed day and let me know about the paint if you get time!

Hey Sissie Girl,
Where's my pillow? You changed your banner, it was kind of cool seeing my 2 pillows from you on the banner, they were little superstar pillows! The new one is a beaut tho, those white frames & the light fixture would look just dandy in my house. You found some goodies out at the sales this weekend, did you ride the pink bike? I'm imagining you riding to the sale on the bike with a mcMuffin in one hand, tea in the other! No more peanut M&Ms tho! Lisa
