Weekend Finds and Redos

Hi Bloggerettes!  Hope everyone's having a great 4th of July holiday!
I found a few things at the yard sales.
Like these vintage crinolines. When I saw them I couldn't yank them down off the tree branch quick enough!
Remember wearing these?  Me neither.

Found this cherub and roses mirror and gave it a coat
of heirloom white.

I found this angel and I just love her.

Remember this ugly chair...

Now look at her...

I found this vanity/desk in a very dirty beat-up state.
Sorry I didn't take a before picture, but I get in too big of a hurry.
I know you understand.
Anyway, a good dose of heirloom white paint and some new
knobs and she's ready for my booth!

Check out this uber cool little crusty, rusty metal chair in a booth at
Miss Minnie's....ooh la la!

I'm going to show off over at Linda's at Coastal Charm's Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays.  Be sure and stop over there and look at all the good stuff.

Have I told yall lately how much I love you.  I do, I really do.

~~hugs~~

No, I don't remember those crinolines either...I wish! I remember the time I tore mine on the playground. My girlfriend...we were about 7 decided if we knotted it up, my mom wouldn't notice...except it looked like I had grown a huge tumor while at school! Yep, I don't remember them at all!!

I'm a HUGE fan of So You Think You Can Dance and the other night one of the judges gave some feedback to this AMAZING dancer. He said something to the effect, "It's your world and I'm just glad to be visiting!"

That's how I feel about your blog, Sissie. Thanks for always taking it to the next perfect level, that angel chair is glorious!

Oh Mylanta...love the cancans. And yes...sad to say...I not only remember them and wore them, but I miss them! We'd pin bells on them to ring when we walked...even as a little girl, I had to make an entrance!
You do really beautiful make overs.

Girl, you keep me in stitches! Mine were always itchy, but that didn't stop my mom from piling them on me! Not attractive when you're a chubby little 6 year old! te he, that's why I don't wear them now!

Is that chair and desk a set or are they separate? That angel chair is fabulous. My mom is in a wheelchair, but she would adore something like that to look at. I know, shipping rates would be prohibitive.....

Love and sugar from me to you.
