French Farmhouse Cabinet Redo

Hi Lovely Bloggerettes!  I could just kick myself for not taking a before picture of this, but I am always in such hurry to make it purdee!  Anyway, imagine ugly brown stain and great big chunky square wooden knobs and you got it!

I added some gray/blue paint, then sanded it with my mouse and it turned out nice.  I found some vintage door pulls at the shop and the shop owner was nice enough to give them to me!  I then added two wooden round pulls on the drawer that I painted to match.  Not crazy about them.
I'm calling this a "french farmhouse look."
It's in my booth waiting for a new home...

How about a pink ladder....yeah baby!

Finished up a burlap and rosette pillow!

Okay Bloggerette Sistas, let's get out and find something, make something and write something beautiful.
                                         ~~hugs~~

Oh I love them all! I absolutely love all of the swedish blogs with the greys and blues and whites, and have a gallon of greyish paint waiting for the humidity to go down. I might actually have to save it for our living room, we'll see, you have tempted me to paint some piece of furniture now! the pink ladder is too sweet, and of course your pillows are always so beautiful. Have a wonderful Sunday night! Theresa xo

Hi Sissie, I am Amy from maison decor and I am so happy to meet you through your wonderful blog! I could be your sister perhaps, we seem to have the same taste. First of all I love the blue grey paint job on the chest, divine. Farmhouse French is correct! Also am digging the ruffled burlap pillows, so frenchy! And lastly the pink ladder. I just did one for my home office and it is swedish blue. YOu can see it in my post Marie Antoinette meets Maison Decor!! Thats how I decorated my home office (I make custom draperies and decorate)...so lets hang out Sissie!! Of course I will be following you and putting you on my blog roll!
