Got my weekly dose of Iron !

Hi Bloggerettes!  Wanna see what I found this weekend.....I knew you would, so here goes!
Joe, the Iron Man came by the shop on Saturday with his junk wagon in tow.  This picture is Joe's set-up at the Raleigh, NC Flea Market.  He hooks that same trailer up to his pick-up truck and peddles his stuff to area dealers.
Remember Mr. Haney from Petticoat Junction?  Well, that's what I call Mr. Joe.  Wanna see what I got from him....

This iron garden gate makes a perfect headboard.  Don't you think so?

He had a few of these cute as can be benches.  I had to have one. You understand.
He also had these adorable frogs.  I added little rhinestones to their crowns and a sweet tag that reads...."Sometimes you have to
kiss a few frogs before you find your Prince !"

Moving along because there is more.  I'm on a roll here.
Got this adorable bench from one of the other booth owners in our shop.  It's perfect for my bathroom vanity area.

I love this little wooden shabby childs chair.  I painted it white and
I like how it looks in the livingroom.
Well that about covers my loot for the weekend.  I'm linking up  with Coastal Charm's Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays.  Be sure and go over to Linda's and check out other great thrift finds.

Now, I'm going blog hopping to catch up on all my blogging sisters.

                                              ~~hugs~~

Hi Sissie!
I do remember Uncle Joe, was Mr. Haney the one that couldn't remember anything? I used to watch that show at my grandparent's and loved the little dog chasing the railroad car, I was always worried he wouldn't make it (somethings NEVER change w/me & animals).

I love your new headboard, it's so pretty! The bench is darling too, OK, I love it all, you made out great. Don't you love it when that happens?

Happy week, I will Petticoat Junction in my head all night.

I am forever in love with the headboard..and that bench is as cute as can be. You'll enjoy the little stool in your bath.
Now...on to the cute childs chair. I have a little red rocker that I bought for my first grandson. It is still here (and we just celebrated his 20th birthday)...I am bringing it out of the closet and into my living room!! Thanks for the inspiration..
