Lovely things to share

Hi Bloggerettes!  I've been thinking about fall and fixing up my booth.  I have visions of pumpkins, apple scented candles, baskets of apples, falling leaves and..........burlap!

Yep, burlap.  It seems like the natural texture for all things fall.

I also think that nothing looks better with burlap than beautiful vintage lace.

Still lovin this birdcage.  Looks so good with burlap.
I first saw this antique vanity mirror at a little antique shop and didn't buy it.
But, you know how when you really want something, it keeps calling your name until you go back and get it.  Luckily it was still there and the price was right.

I love this vintage vanity mirror.  It's shabby and very sweet.  I love the patina where some of the silver has worn off due to age. Ahhh, makes my heart skip a beat!

As hard as I try, I cannot pass up silver trays. And when the price is low I have an even harder time passing them up.  This one looks perfect on my wall of venetian mirrors.

My first year blog anniversary is coming up
August 20th and I plan to have a giveaway!
I can't think of a better way to thank all of
you for your friendship and support.
Stay tuned!

~~squeezy hugs~~

Oh I love that burlap pillow! And I can't pass up a silver tray either. I actually purchased 5 of them yesterday at the thrift store. I can't believe people get rid of those, but hey, I'm glad they do. Such lovely things you've posted.

I love the white on the burlap pillow. I have some burlap that I have been making into bows. I too love to collect silver trays, I like mine tarnished though. Have a lovely day.

You've only been blogging a year??? Your blog looks as though you invented BLOGGING! I am looking soooo forward to fall...the heat here has been literally unbearable and is still as hot as the devil's homeplace! Also, fall means the beginning of school and I still love the smell of a new box of crayons, even though I'm retired!

Oh Sissie! I am in love the burlap and lace - it is gorgeous! I love tri-fold vanity mirrors. I am going to keep in mind about hanging silver trays. I have several and I hate that they sometimes just sit in the cabinet and do not get seen.

It's all so very pretty. I'd never thought of mixing lace with burlap, but I just might have to steal.... uh, borrow.... the idea. There's a tri vanity mirror I passed up that was also a great price that's been haunting me for a couple of years now. Should'a, should'a! Love the silver tray hanging on the wall, too.

What a great idea, burlap and vintage lace. I may have to borrow that idea because I happen to have plenty of both. I thought I wasn't ready for Fall but when you mention pumpkins and apple scented candles I do look forward to that.

Lovely indeed! I have fond memories of sitting at my Mammaw's vanity when I was younger. She used Olay and Cover Girl and when I smell either, I think of her. She had the most fabulous jewelry box filled with the most wonderful broaches and clipped earrings. I would love to have that box now. Wishing you a fabulous Friday! :) Tammy

Hey good lookin', watcha got cookin' over here? A burlap pillow with lace you say? It feels like you are warming up for fall for sure. I love combining textures too. Random fabrics and lace when combined, work beautifully.

Your booth is such an amazing adventure. I'm doing pretty good in mine too. Hoping to sell the red and white retro diner set...that would be pure profit. I've made rent so far on smalls, so I'm happy for the first month out.
