Rachel Made Me Do It!!!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to come up with any pinks for Pink Saturday so I went on a hunt to the thrifts, Habitat and a few other places just hoping I would see something pink!
A few days ago I did find this little table.  Yep, I did it again.  I forgot to take a picture of before.  Trust me, it was brown and ugly.  Now, it's kinda cute, not pink, but cute.
How about some pink flowers?

Just when I was about to give up my search, I found this!

Just looking through Rachel's book made me drool....
Look at her daughter's bedroom

Here's her collection of vintage prom and party dresses....
Here's my collection. Um....I think I need some more...

Found this great sewing idea book and it's pink!

And, this wonderful book "Savannah Blues," by
Mary Kay Andrews.  I have already read this one
and I highly recommend it.
Of course I've read all of her books.

Happy Pink Saturday  Pinkettes.  Be sure and stop by our
and check out some more pinkilicious stuff.

Right now I need to go bury my nose in Rachel's book!
I won't be coming up for air for quite some time!!!

Have fun finding treasures and creating this weekend.

~~hugs~~

~~hugs some more~~

I love your share today. Your table turned out absolutely gorgeous. I love it. The flowers are just the perfect touch. (You always have that perfect touch).

Loved Rachael's book. That bedroom is so delicious. Yep it looks like if you are going to keep up with the Jone's you are going to have to add a few more prom dresses. Get to shopping Sissie.

Hope you have a beautiful Saturday. I love stopping in to say hi. Love ya girl.

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Ok Sissie, I am coming over and stealing your new table! I just love all of the wonderful detail, so glad you painted it white! I love Rachel Ashwell, too. I don't have the book you mentioned, but I did find her 1st book awhile back at our library's used book sale for a buck! I was surprised anyone would want to part with it!

Oh, my, what lovely PINKS you have to share! I LOVE that table, Sissie!!! Ahhh, that's all I need to do now is collect prom dresses . . those are so cute! Reminds me of a bridesmaid dress I wore one, we all had different colors. Now I can't remember if mine was pink or lavender, I think it was lavender as someone else wanted pink . . .

Have a great weekend!

I am absolutely drooling over that white table...the legs are to die for!!!! I thought of you today when I was looking through some old linens I've collected. Found this sweet little pillow cover that I had gotten from my mother-in-law's house when she downsized. I need to get a pillow to go inside and do something special with it. You are such an inspiration!
