In the Pink!

Hi Bloggerettes!  It's time again for Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly at How Sweet The Sound.  Be sure and go there and check out all the delicious pinkness going on today.

Found these well loved ballet shoes and decided they needed to be
a little pinker.  So out came the pink spray paint (pink ballerina, of course), some ribbon and rhinestones and even a crystal.

I think they would look great hanging over the door to a little girl's room or over a mirror.
I haven't shown you my laundry room have I?  Well here is a little peek at some laundry room pinkness...

For some reason cleaning up messes with a pink dust broom
just makes it easier and kinda fun, well sorta.

While I'm at it I might as well show you my bathroom
chandelier.  It needs dusted so I tried to creatively and artistically
erase the cobwebs!

You can see just a hint of the pink flowers hanging on the wall,
so this counts as Pink Saturday, right?

Happy Pink Saturday everybody.  Now get out there and create something lovely.

By the way I would like to welcome my many new followers.  I am honored that you have chosen my blog to follow and I thank you for the vote of confidence.
And, a big I love you to all my bloggy friends.
You are the best!

~~hugs~~

Sissie, The little pink ballet slippers are adorable. My mom saved my first ballet shoes and the program from my first recital. The little shoes were painted red to match my costume. I was three years old and I continued to take ballet for 15 years! I now have these two things framed in a shadow box that hangs in our bedroom.

You are the only person I know that has a pink dustpan! Very cute. Have a great weekend.

Nobody does pink as well as you...nobody! I am officially declaring Pink to be your new middle name! Sissie Pink...sounds like a great name for a paint color too! You need to suggest that to Benjamin Moore!

You have inspired me to go buy a can of soft pink paint. The pretty pink that we used for our hankies in Queens in Training! I have a wee bathroom that is filled with little poodles...I think their bathroom needs to be pink.
Love sent from me to you.

I love them, and you decorated them so adorable, love all the bling on them.

Love the laundry room too, can't wait to see pictures of it!

I just got back from Target and bought more simply shabby chic curtains for the guest room and master, I could spend all day in there:)

I think I might actually enjoy cleaning up if I had a pink dust broom! And I would definitely enjoy doing laundry if my laundry area looked like yours. There's just not much you can do though if your washer and dryer are in the spidery basement!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Especially the shoes.
Your drop leaf table turned out so nice. Wish I could get busy like you and accomplish something.
