No Ruffles on my burlap! Eeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkk!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I've been playing around and making some pillows.
This one I call the shabby burlap pillow.  It's rough around the edges and I used burlap thread to slip stitch the ends together and left it all kinda stringy.  I like how it turned out.  What no ruffles????
I tied a silk brown ribbon around it just for fun. And added a sweet tag I won in a giveaway from Rosemary at Ozma of Odds.
It's quite simple, yet pretty.

A small corner of my booth ready for Fall.

And of course my booth always has Pink!

Well, I'm off to blog hop.  Can't wait to see what everyone
is doing, showing, writing and creating.

~~hugs~~

I love the burlap with ruffles AND with the shabby edges! It's all good. :)
Although I grabbed a burlap pillow when laying down on the couch the other day and it does NOT feel good when you lay your head on it, lol.

I think I prefer this one without ruffles. Something very simplistic about the burlap and ribbon just shouts FALL. And your booth is gorgeous!

I agree with EVERYBODY! I love your pillows, love your booth, love all of it! You are a display artist my dear! Wow...what you do with fabric never ceases to amaze me. The other day I was making a pillow for my bed..it was simple..but I thought to myself now what would Sissie do to make this look incredible? All the sudden my mind was filled with plenty of ideas! Those ideas weren't there a few seconds before mind you! hahahaha....
You have that certain look! And I for one love it!

Debbie

Hello sweet Sissie! I just adore everything you do, I would use these burlap pillows on my wicker sofa outside. Oh my, I went back and found your sisters house it is oh so pretty and it photographs really well, I am now going to be patient and wait to find a fireplace screen. Cross my toes and fingers.

Thank you for the great idea! I won't pass up another valet when I see one. I learn so much from the blogging world! and you!

Your booth really looks super Sissie! I bet you can hardly keep the stock in it for all the sales going on! I like the unruffled pillow but I like the ruffled ones also. LOL Without the ribbon I can see where today's pillow would be nice for a man's room. You just have so much talent!

Very nice, Sissie! Your presentation is beautiful with the silk ribbon and tag. I love the simplicity of the pillow....it's rustic and elegant! I do adore your ruffles as well! It's fun to see a corner of your booth. Very classy and beautiful.

Sissie I adore this pillow!!! It reminds me of the grain sacks we would get oats in for our horses several years ago, before plastic took over the world. I don't think we will be seeing much done with those in the future, but you never know. Some clever artist will come up with some use for them I'm sure. But I really love this pillow.
You are such a rock star in my world!!!
hugs to you...
