Vintage Inspiration Friday

Hi Bloggerettes!  Do you like vintage frames painted white and hung on the wall?  I thought so.  To me they are works of art within themselves.  All it takes to create them is a can of white paint!
Look for frames that are ornate with interesting carvings.

Aren't they fun to hang on the wall just the way they are?
How about using a vintage plate rack?

I'm joining Debra at Common Ground for her lst Vintage
Inspiration Friday.  Be sure and stop by her blog to see all the wonderful participant's blogs.

Don't forget to enter my Blog Anniversary Giveaway.
I'll be announcing the winner Sept. 12

~~hugs~~

Oh no!! this is killing me - Im having a tag sale tomorrow and getting rid of a few frames like those except they are gold. I will probably never get around to painting them - so I feel like they should go ~ but after seeing how gorgeous yours are - Im taking them off the truck.

Sissy amor, how I have missed visiting your beautiful blog :) I am slowly getting back to visiting all my favorites as lil tufts of time become mine again :) I love how your frames came out, they look so lovely the way that you displayed them! I have a hard time painting frames...especially the old gilt wood ones...but it is because besides being a frufru girly girl...I am a GAUDY frufru girlie girl :) I know, I know...feel for my amor...he has to live w/all my wonderful Gaudiness ;) Hope all is well with you & yours :) Grazie for your visits and lovely thoughts for our daughter & family, they meant the world to us :) She is btw doing amazing! I love empty frames. In my antiques booth I use to hang pictures, but did not sell to many as it is such a personal item as far as what people like and colors. Now I just have a big wooden crate full of MT white frames, the more ornate the better!

Hi Sissie,
Those frames sure would look great in my house! I really love how you have displayed them in the dish rack! I would never have thought of that, love it!

Clever and different to place them in the plate rack. Really makes them pop. I kept thinking while I was reading..."I was framed I tell ya!".

My friend does the same with all gold frames. Her ceilings are over 20 feet high so she has a lot of wall space. It does make a nice and easy way to decorate. Not a lot of money for a high impact design. Again Congrats on your anniversary.
