Meet Rusty, Crusty and Chippy

Hi Bloggerettes!  I'd like to introduce you to a few of my good friends.  At first our friendships started out a little rocky but as time went on we got to know each other better. And now, we are best buds and hangin out together.

So allow me to introduce them. I would like you to me Rusty.  You might not like him at first but believe me he will grown on you.....

He's kind-of-a wallflower and prefers sitting on the sidelines.  He likes hiding out in old barns and out buildings, so sometimes you have to dress him up and bring him out!

Now I'd like you to meet Crusty. He's a cousin of Rusty's and has similar family traits. Crusty worries that he will "rub you the wrong way." So, please assure him that he doesn't. He knows how it feels to be tossed aside and wonders why others just don't "get him!
He just loves surrounding himself with lovely things.

He will remain a true friend for life...
His friendship is enduring.

Next, meet my friend Chippy.  When you first meet Chippy you kinda feel sorry for him. You see his scars and wonder how he's managed to survive. You want to smooth over some of his rumpledness and put a band aid on his wounds. Then you want to  fill-him-up because he's looking a little thin, but after you get to know him,
you realize he's fine the way he is!

Chippy can be very appealing.  He can make you feel nostalgic and melancholy.  He knows how to soothe your soul.

Chippy is a great mingler and can be found hanging out with Crusty and Rusty. Now tell me, you just can't ask for better friends that these three.

Rusty, Crusty and Chippy want to be your friends too.
Can they come over and play at your house?

Yep, I've lost it....I was going through the old barn again with my friend Peggy and I ain't been the same since.  I am now crushing on Rusty, Crusty and Chippy so please don't tell Mr. Sissie!

Be sure and stop by and get inspired!
~~hugs~~

Girl, look at you!!!! I love everything you have shown. The rustier, the chippier, the crustier, the better. Such wonderful personality.

Dear Sissy (the crackpot!)...

When I was a little girl I concluded that boys with chipped teeth were never going to steal my heart away! And...if they had crusty ears...well~they were equally as YUCKY....

BUT....

When I was only nine years old I fell in LIKE with a boy name Rusty... Ever since I've been sweet on anything that reminds me of him.

Just wanted you to know that I'm nuts, too! (hahahhahahahahha)

Missed you while I was away~

What a fun post! I have to admit Chippy is my favorite followed by Rusty. I do have a little fear of him though since my tetanus shot is not updated! The hunt sounds like so much fun, You're turning into a picker!

A really cute post! I can't say I'm really in love with Rusty...but do like him in some cases. Crusty...I like much better. Chippy...depends. I like a lot of shabby chic but not as much as some do I guess. I'm so eclectic in my tastes...can never really say what my style is. But I do know that I like yours!

Their cousins are living in France, at our cottage to be precise. The family resemblance is so obvious.

Be still my heart.....I have found my true love ........chippy. Solid but Rough around the edges, smooth in the center, his cares worn away with time....... I know he is yours. The better woman won. Sigh.
