My take on the Sheet Music Wreath

Hi Bloggerettes!  When I saw Miss Mustard Seed's Sheet Music Wreath I knew I had to try and make one.  Well, I tried and it's okay, but nothing like hers. Guess I'll keep my day job!

I'm showing it to you because instead of coming up with an interesting post, I spent countless hours rolling up sheet music!

It sure takes bunches of sheet music to create this huge wreath.  I think I got carried away.
Hey did you ever stop to think......"What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about."    (just thought I'd see if you are paying attention)
I'm thinking I'm going to print something on a burlap banner and put it across the center.  Not sure I'm liking the glittery script.
I told you that I am not a crafter, but I get so excited when I see all the beautiful creations on the blogs.  And, I just have to give it a try.
So on a scale of 1 to 10, how did I do?
I give myself a 6 which means it needs work and practice.

That's what is so great about blogging.  We are surrounded by so many wonderful artists, writers and photographers that we cannot help but be inspired by their energy.  Now that I'm a blogger, I think I can do anything!!!!!

Maybe I better stick to making pillows.

~~hugs~~

I think you did a great job on the wreath..and I like the glittery piece in the middle.
I get so intimidated by all the wonderful creations made on blog land that I feel my stuff can't compare. There are so many talented ladies and you are one of them!

Well, heck I'd give it a ten. How many sheets of paper did you end up using anyhow?

Sissie, your wreath is a 10 for sure! I love it, I really do!! And I like the glittery center, though a burlap banner might be a neat addition, especially if it is covered in glitter! Can you tell that I LOVE glitter?

It looks beautiful Sissie! I am going to have to see if my daughter would want to try to make one for her band teacher for a Christmas gift. Sweet!

I give you a 10 just for trying it , that's a lot of sheet music.
I looked for some cones at my Dollar store today , they didn't have any , I'm not giving up yet, a few of those cones would sure look nice on my tree this year.
I do really like your wreath !

Sissie, "take" on the sheet music wreath is big and beautiful! I love it!

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to find some vintage sheet music to make a couple of wreaths! I love the idea of sheet music!

Love the wreath (quit pickin on yourself girl!) ha!

Cheers!

Sissie I think it looks great also. I am not crafty and understand the fear factor, but you truly can do anything. I would like to see it with a burlap printed piece. I think the glitter word gets a little lost. That is a bunch of sheet music!!

Hi Sissie,
I think it's lovely. Maybe a black glittery peace sign would show up better but it's just fine the way it is.
I thought about trying this too but I don't want to use up all my sheet music! LOL! And it takes awhile to do I'm sure and well, I'm impatient!
You did a great job!
Blessings,
Sonya

Hi Sissie! We think alike! I wanted to try it, too. I spent about two hours rolling music only to realize it's going to be waaaay too huge for my little house! lol So I guess I will undo the tape, cut and start over...ooooh noooo! I hope Judge Judy has something interesting to say the next few days! lol I am determined to make this work! Yours looks fabulous! I love the little sheet music button in the middle. I like the glitter script. You can change it to something else and use it after Christmas, too! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie

Hello Miss Sissie, you can't see me but I'm holding up my score paddle with a BIG 10 on it!
I hopped over to MMS's blog and, well, please don't tell her but I think yours is prettier =o)
I would like to see what it would look like with the burlap banner though, since I do agree with Linda that maybe the scale and color of the words get a bit lost in such awesomeness.

Thank you for sharing your talent and wit with us, Irma

You have really inspired me to try it. Lord knows I have sheet music to spare. I could use a hand rolling tho....hint. Remember, I already bribed with the shirt off my back. Lisa
