To the Letter

Hi Bloggerettes!  Can you believe the Holiday Season is already here!
Where has time gone.....
I think that the Christmas Season is one of my favorite times here in Blogland.  Creativity is abundant, bling and glitter abound and inspiration is everywhere.  My head spins with ideas and I want to soak in all the beautiful things on each and every post.

Now on to what I planned to post... Lately I've been inspired by all the words and lettering that seems to be popular in our world.  Lisa at Fern Creek Cottage made the cutest sign for her laundry room and I decided to copy, er, uh, borrow her idea.  Mine is modified and hers is much nicer, but hey go easy on me, I'm a beginner.

My letter spacing is a little wonky so, I'll keep practicing.

Still on the lettering and writing kick, I found this at Graphic's Fairy.
And created a pillow.  I added some vintage lace and voila!

Well, I'm off to go blog hopping.  I just can't wait to see what you  have new to show me.

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

~~hugs~~

No one in my area seems to be into the signs but I like them. The only one I have is one on my porch that says COME SIT ON MY PORCH. I love it but hadn't thought of making my own. Your first attempts are wonderful!

I think your sign is great, I did not see any "Wonky" letters! I have never tried doing a sign, I wonder if you gave a light sand to the letters it would look even more distressed,Advise from someone who has never done one! I have been bookmarking all of these great ideas! I love the pillow you're right there is so many good things coming out in blog land!
