Busy Sunday

Hi Bloggerettes!
Remember this rug?  Well it used to be in the dining room.
I had to move it because the kitties used it as a playground and a hiding place for their toys!
So......it is now in my guest bedroom.
Hard to tell what room I'll drag it to next month!

I walked around Miss Minnie's Antiques this morning taking
a few random shots of different booths.
check out this sweet cottage wardrobe....

Cottage Furniture with some beachy thrown in.
Afterall, we are at the beach!

Sterling Silverware...
China...

Peggie's booth is a shabby lover's dream...

I found this lovely vintage gown at a thrift shop. They were having a half off on anything with pink!

Okay that's it!
I promise, I'm still working on my 1000 Follower Giveaway,
so stay tuned.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

I think your rug looks better in your guest room. Seems like it goes better with the style in there. Looks like Minnie's is a wonderful store. I wish there was a nice, bright clean store like that to buy antiques where I live. Instead, what you see is yard sale leftovers in old, dark, dirty, dingy shops. Looks like you picked a great place for your booth.

Oh Sissie, that beautiful rug reminded me of the one I used to have. I loaned it to my sister-in-law and never saw it again:(... My Bad!! I loved that rug and would love to use it again in my guest room. At the time it just didn't fit into a little boys room. I love that pink gown and always enjoy a touch of at the beach.

My favorite is the cottage/beachy wardrobe. One of my closest friends just moved into a 1940's bungalow and that piece would look wonderful in her bedroom. Again, I don't live close enough to buy it!!!!!! Ugh!!!!!

ummm, I could just crawl into that comfy looking bed and sleep all day long. :)) (I am so lazy)

The room I am about to redo will take awhile..wallpaper to remove, olden carpet to rip out and decide what goes in it's place..painting..making window treatments..
ooooo....it is gonna take foreveeeeeeeer.

What a beautiful website I love shabby chic. I am fortunate enough to have 2 houses to decorate. In Florida it just warrants shabby . We live at the lake in Summer and that is just the best for shabby. I am getting ready to make a sewing room . I plan on doing it in white cabinets and pink accents. so I see your bedroom .It looks so inviting and tranquil.I see you do not like to part from things .Geesh my husband would have half my things gone if it was his way. I want my stuff out in the open to enjoy . He wants minimal does not work for me . Oh well I love your site and your nick name looks like it suits you well.!!!!
