Inspiring Little Chairs

Hi Bloggerettes!  I love little chairs and if I do then, I know you do too.  Right?   I have a really hard time passing them up and if I don't stop I'm going to have to hang them from the ceiling!  Um, that's probably not a bad idea.
Bought this one from another booth owner and gave it some paint and a good sanding.  I just love little vintage folding chairs, don't you?

Wonder how many little ones sat in this sweet chair...

This one was a HomeGoods find.

I've been thinking about my countdown to 1000 followers giveaways and I want you to know that I'm working on it!  I hope to have the first giveaway up by the weekend.

You are the best bunch of bloggerettes, ever and it's time to give back.  So stay tuned.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Oh, Sis, I have a chair *thing*, too. Especially child's chairs. But I don't have anyone child-sized around here anymore -- still, I can't resist them. I have a white one, a red one, a few family ones, another red one, a salmon one . . . see?

Yours are certainly lovely.

Hi Sissie,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love you chairs. I love chairs and have about 10-15 old wooded ones in my "barn" waiting for a redo. I love what you did with yours. You have inspired me to start a project. I love all your goodies in your booth. Have a great weekend.

I love the first chair, it reminds me of the old wooden chairs they used at my husbands firehall for parties. I have been collecting them ever since I saw my first one, right now I have about 13, I usually manage to find a few each year. After seeing your chair, I think this is the year that they get painted, 1/2 will be white and the other 1/2 black. I am so looking forward to spring when I can start painting outside again. So, let me ask you, what kind of paint do you use on your chairs?

My favorite stuff

  • Donuts
  • Iced Vanilla Coffee
  • Finding Junk and making it beautiful
  • Spending Time with my Sister
  • Holidays with my family
  • Poirot movies
  • reading murder mysteries
  • searching shabby chic stuff on ebay
  • writing stories and blogging
  • snuggling with my husband and my kitty kats
  • comfortable pajamas
  • slot machines
  • yard sales
  • hunting through estate sales and thrift shops
  • going to antique shops
  • eating out with my sister
  • having lunch with my husband
  • having lunch with my son
  • vanilla wafer cookies
  • pedicures and pink toenail polish
  • Lavender scented soaps and body wash
  • Good makeup
