Great Finds!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I've been busy, busy, busy. I did manage to find a few things this weekend despite the lousy, cold and rainy weather.
This little bamboo chair was sitting all alone just waiting for someone to give it a little love.  Thata be me!!

It already had a white paint job, so I just used my little mouse sander and gave it some shabbiness.  I had an old matelasse coverlet that I cut up and used for the seat upholstery and then added a sheer ruffle.

Of course, it had to have a Sissie ruffled pillow.

I love making these little peat pots.
It's so much fun coming up with the embellishments.
Scrabble tiles were perfect for this one.

More book bundles....

I found these two little chairs, gave them a washed down paint job and some sanding.  They look perfect with this little table.

I got some splainin to do on this next project.
This white wardrobe has been in my booth longer than I like.

So, Peggie suggested that I use this wonderful wallpaper she found.
I papered the sides and the front and I'm still working on it.
What do you think?

Gotta get up early and do some trimming on this wardrobe and hopefully someone will take it home.

Everyone get out and make this a great week.
I'll be checking your blogs to see what's new.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Well come on now,you know that wardrobe is gonna fly out of the shop with that pretty wallpaper on her doors! I imagine you with a wand with a little gold sparkly star at the end of it and you wave it over your projects and voila! They are done. You get so much done Sissie. The sheer ruffle is sweet too! But I was just overwhelmed with that pink posie wallpaper honestly!

I am loving all of your shabby whites, Sissie! Great idea on the armoire! Wish I didn't live so far away, it would be perfect for my craft room! And I love your peat pot, what a fun project!!

Everything looks beautiful, Sissie and that wardrobe is gorgeous with the pink wallpaper. I like the green crystal knobs, too! That would be adorable in a little girls's room or even my room if I lived closer.

Oh...that is fit for The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe. A new look and I bet it will sell quick. It is awesome! Just love the thing! If I had lots of dough and a good truck I'd snatch it up in a wink!

I've opened my store. You can see some nighttime pictures on my blog today Sissie. I'm having the time of my life! I have no regrets. Once Upon A Fairyland...a whimsical consignment shop has been born and the beautiful thing is...half of the items in it are the work of bloggers! Who would have thought?

Yes I love the wallpaper on the wardrobe. Makes all the difference. After all if it isn't white, than make it pink. Are there any other colors? Stay warm. We have another storm coming.

Don't you just hate it when something sits in your booth for a long time. Happens to me as well. Anyway, I love everything you've blogged about today. I think the wardrobe is a hit.
Hope you are warm today.
