Inspiration

Hi Bloggerettes!  I get so inspired reading your blogs!  You come up with some of the best stuff!
Sometimes, well most of the time, after looking at all your good ideas, my brain goes in to overload. That's when it gets a little crowded up there and I just have to kick out a few of these ideas.

I found an old cabinet door made of wood.  It had seen its better days.  So, I painted it chantilly lace, shabbied it up lots and added the fleur de lis hooks.
Now, it's a great hanging rack....yes?

This little cabinet door was painted the same color and shabbied up a little.  I added a crown hook that I found at Hobby Lobby.

Since I am on the subject of wood, I can't resist a wooden frame, especially if it's old and ornate.
I am collecting quite a few and have created a vingette in my dining room....

Okay gang, it's time to get to work.  I've got lots of fluffing and stuff to do in my booths, so this weekend is going to be a busy one.

So get out there and create, paint, write, photograph or sew something beautiful.  Keep that inspiration going!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Sissy,
you took and old piece of a broken cabinet door and made it into something fabulous and functional, how cool is that! and the grouping of frames so artistic the way you have them set up and layered, - awesome!

Love these, Sissie! I could just see a woman's silky robe hanging from one of those hooks. I have a crown hook {well, two} similar to yours sitting in my craft closet waiting for use.

Sissie I have two of those crown hooks just sitting on a shelf doing nothing...now an idea from you!! They look great...hey now, you have to take a pic of the whole dining room so we can see your vignette better!

I love the new projects! You are always coming up with something beautiful. I just can't seem to get my mojo going on anything creative lately. But I guess it's ok to just be lazy sometimes too.

Sissie , You are like me , when you see a project that you love that someone else has done , you say to yourself " I can do that ". Usually if the price is right and I really love it I will buy it, but if I can't aford it I will do my best to make something similar that I love just as much. These doors are so cute , and such a good way to recycle something that is not much good for anything else. I love the shabbyness of them , I can think of a couple of places one would come in handy , OK... now I am going to have to try too.. See what you started !

Good morning to you!

I love stopping by your blog because you give me great ideas for my booth. Cabinet doors and hooks. So cute! I'll have to try that. Our Restore sells tons of cabinet fronts. Love your exposed frame collection. I have a few, also.

Hope you have a fun weekend!
Hugs,
Michelle

Sissie, I just have to tell you...You had the best idea yet, I should have just removed the legs from that box, that will be an easy fix if it dos not sell, people love old boxes, next time I am going to ask your opinion first!
