Just had to Have It!

Hi Bloggerettes!  The sun was shining here on the coast and the temps reached into the 70's.  It was a lovely day and I made the most of it.
I stopped by a few yard sales and found some little things I'll show you later.  I decided to browse around Tuesday Mornings and found a wonderful canvas print that is just perfect for my dining room.
Simple pink, oh yes pink!!! tea cups and saucers...
on canvas and framed in a gorgeous frame in an antique white...

I love how it goes with the pink toile curtains in the dining room.

I love it.  I always have a hard time with art and when I see something I really like, I have to get it.  You understand, don't you?

I went a little ruffle crazy on this burlap pillow.  But I couldn't help myself.  I just started adding ruffles and every row kept calling out for more.  Burlap and ruffles speak to me!
Pink tea cups speak to me!
My problem is too many things speak to me!

Now, go out and make it a good week.  Create, write, bake, craft or find something wonderful and share it with us!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

What a pretty picture Sissie! It looks perfect in your dining room. When art speaks, you have to listen! Anyway, It would be fun to do a theme on pink teacups around it, wouldn't it?
Glad to hear you had a sunny day, it is snowing AGAIN in Boston this morning....

Good Morning Sissie! My first thought as I read your post was envy... you have yard sales to go to? We just had another snow storm all day yesterday so it's going to be a while before I can go to any! That teacup picture is perfect, love it! I think that is exactly how art is...When we first moved into this house I was decorating it the way I thought the house needed to be decorated, the pictures on the wall reflected that. Well, it didn't last long, it just wasn't US. Now I have a bunch of pictures I need to sell! :) Today is a snow day so I will be sewing and making soup, sounds just right! Have a wonderful Monday! Theresa xoxo

Hi Sissie:
Although I don't know where I'd ever put it, the teacup print is beautiful. I love that soft pink (used to have that color on my studio walls up north), but I haven't used it in FL yet. Perhaps I should reconsider. It reminds me of that gorgeous pink color one finds on the inside of conch shells. The pillow is gorgeous, too! I hope you have a perfect week, my friend.

I love the teacup print! How adorable is that; stunning next to your pink toile! I would never have walked away from it either. As for the ruffles, can a lady have too many? Have a lovely day, sweet friend.

Blessings,
Sandi

Love that print, you find the best stuff , that's why it speaks to you ! I found some pink toile fabric similar to your curtains the other day at a local fabric store ( on sale ! ) I bought enough to make s few pillows with , I love it !
I have question for you . When you paint furniture , do you use a brush or a roller on the big pieces ?

I envy your warm sunny temps. We are expected to get snow tomorrow and the next few days, which I am actually OK with, we have only had a sprinkling this Winter. I can get my fix and move on to Spring!

I've always loved your toile curtains and indeed the teacup print works perfectly with them! The pillow is so nice too! I don't think it's too many ruffles. I recently looked at a pillow in a store where it literally was covered in row and row of ruffles. Yours reminds me of that one.
