Keepin You Happy

Hi Bloggerettes!

I figure the best way to keep all of you happy is to show you something new!  So I scrounged around and found a few things that you just might like.  I know how we bloggers get easily bored. But we will have none of that here at Sissie's Shabby Cottage, oh no no!  So here goes....

I bought two painter dropcloths in an off white color.  They were 9ft. long and just perfect for panels in the family room.  The windows in here are so tall and I just needed some fabric to soften the edges.  I think I like them.  Only cost $18. for two.

I love finding silver candlelabras and making them pretty.
This one is going to my booth.

Along with this sweet pillow made from an old piece of linen and a sweet vintage handkerchief.

Pillow and candlelabra equals perfect combination...

I say we need more burlap and ruffles in our lives, yes?

Get a load of these ruffles.....oh la la!
My pink ruffles runneth over....
A thrift shop skirt that will be used for a pillow or something.
I just couldn't resist.

So after looking at all these new things at Sissie's Shabby Cottage, I hope you are feeling inspired and ready to carry on!

I'm off to go blog hopping.  I can't wait to see whatcha got new!

Aren't we just the luckiest bunch ever!!!!!

~~extra big hugs~~
Sissie

Hi Miss Sissie -
One can never stop by your beautiful blog and not be inspired! I love drop cloths and actually took one, split it down the middle and made a couple of curtains for my living room :) I think I might make a few more for a couple of windows in my laundry room. Did you make the pillow on your sofa? Love it and the two new pillows you made.
Hugs,
Toni

Hi Sisie! It's amazing how a little paint and some ruffles can turning something from ho hum to absolutely fabulous! Those drop cloth panels are great. Most of our windows are west facing so don't get a lot of natural light; plus they are tinted to ward off the summer heat. Wishing you a most wonderful day. Tammy

Sissie,
I love it! I'm getting ready to do the same thing with my living room windows. I did the drop cloth curtains for the little sitting room I did on our porch & I love them. How did you get that beautiful creamy color on yours? Did you bleach them or anything? The ones I buy (from Lowes) have a grayish tone to them.
As always it's all wonderful girl!
