I'm a Blogging Slug!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I feel as though I've been a little lazy in my blogging in the past month or so. I'm a blogging slug.  Seems I just can't get it together.

Trying to keep two booths going can be very time consuming.   I've been visiting your blogs but I haven't posted comments as much as I should. (please forgive me)  I hope to get back in the groove soon.  In the meantime I'm enjoying photographing Gizzie.  I think she matches the decor rather well....
I went to an auction on Friday night and got this vintage
Bakelite dresser set.  It's very rare to find these with all of the pieces and more....

Found these cute plates at a thrift store...

Still loving my teacup print....

Okay bloggy buddies....get out there and create, sew, bake, photograph, find a treasure and have fun!!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

I'm linking with Linda's Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays....be sure to go over and check out all the great posts!

You are busy, Sissie! I love those dishes ~ very Springy! Is your cat trying to blend in with the chair? : ) That is a gorgeous print. I will have to backtrack your posts and read about where you got it again. It suits you so well!

Hi Sissie,
I know what you mean about being a blogger slug. I'm having a difficult time juggling everything and commenting has taken a back seat the past couple of weeks for me too. I'm still reading all my favorites (like yours) but just not finding the time to comment like I would like.
Always love all the pretty things you post!

Gizzie is beautiful! Very photogenic.

It is so hard to keep up with booths or a shop and home and life, reading blogs and keeping up your own. I know all too well. We just get too many irons in the fire.

Love your finds.

Hi Sissie,
Amazing treasures....I can't imagine trying to keep two booths stocked! Treasure hunting is fun, but it sure is time consuming and that is only a small part of it!
Happy day!

Well, I'm being a slug along with you. Even though I haven't been commenting much I do enjoy your blog. Your bakelite set is awesome! Can't believe you found the whole set together. Nice find.

Oh Sissie, you are not even close to being a slug like I am! Ever since I got back from Florida, I just can't seem to get with it. I don't know if it just coming from fantastic weather or just missing my sister...I think a little of both. I am going to try and do better, as soon as I find something to blog about! Btw, I love those little plates!! So darling!~Hugs, Patti

You are always creating such beautiful things, it's no wonder you don't have time to blog. I get somewhat lazy with it myself, plus I don't always have much to say. Sure do wish I could go shopping with you. Our local thrift shop has old Tupperware and worn out tennis shoes!

Hi Sissie, blogging sure is easier when you have more time on your hands. We are on Spring Break right now and enjoying lots of down time. The weather hasn't been cooperating at all. Dust, dust and more dust. But I am home keeping busy with all my crafts. That bakelite vanity set is very nice and such sweet plates. I saw your Pottery Barn pillow here, but it was just the cover and needed a long pillow form and I didn't know that I would find the right size, so didn't get it. :/ I loved the colors and pattern and wanted to use it in my living room during the summer with lots of beachy accessories. Oh well! Gizzie looks very comfortable in her surroundings. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

I don't think you have been lazy about posting. I have been lazy about posting! I can imagine it is a lot more work keeping 2 booths going, even if you have a partner for one. It must be great when you find things ready to pop right into the booth. That's why I wish you lots of luck at your upcoming auction! The Bakelite dresser set is neat and Gizzie is a stunning diva of a cat!

It does take a lot of time to blog and socialize with everyone. I wish I had more time. often I look and don't comment because I'm always so short on time. Love that dresser set. I've NEVER seen one with all of the little extras.
