What's new at High Point Furniture Mart!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I may have told you this before, my sister Kim owns two Lazboy stores.  She went to the furniture show at High Point, NC and came back with some insight on what's new and treny in home decor.  Talk about inspiration!!!!

Well, it turns out it's something that we bloggers already know about....  Shutters...chippy, worn, shabby shutters, vintage pieces and shabby furniture!!  Who knew!  Here's some photos she sent me....

My Sister came back so inspired that she did this in her hallway!
Don't you just love it!!

Oh, and by the way.....Gabby says hi!
Kisses to Charlie and Baby Kitty!!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Be sure and stop by Debra's blog and get inspired!

HI Sissieness! Oh, what fun this would be. We had some friends who owned a furniture in New Mexico and they asked us to go to furniture market with them and I wanted everything I saw!
Your sis did good with her pretty vignette. That little kitty is a doll!
Be a sweetie,

How fun that the marketplace is now taking its cue from bloggers...and you have to know its from bloggers because 'shabby' has been around for a long while.

Gabby looks like a stuffed animal in that shot. How adorable!!!

Hi Sissie!

Isn't it fun to think that we have the inside scoop to what's new?! I was just thinking I see styles on blogs before I even see them published. Love the inspiration your sister brought back. She did a great job of layering her entry. Love the old chippy shutters paired with the mirrors.

Hope you have a great up and coming weekend!
Hugs,
Michelle

We think that the mfg.s are really paying attention to blogs! We've noticed a lot of chippy, shabby pieces from our vendors....of course they are WAYYYY overpriced - better to do it ourselves!! Missed ya lately, we have finally gotten taxes done - yea!! So we can play :) Hope you have a fantastic weekend Sissie!!
