Meeting a blog follower, making pillows and thanks!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I met a follower of my blog.  Her name is Gloria and she is opening a new booth at Fancy Flea Antique Mall where  Peggie and I have a booth!  I was quite flattered when she asked me if I was Sissie from Sissie's Shabby Cottage and then she told me she read my blog faithfully.  She really made me feel good.  It's wonderful meeting blog followers in person and getting to know them.  I know you will all give her your best wishes for a successful booth.  She told me she is doing shabby chic.  When it's ready, I'll be sure and post pictures.

I finally made a few pillows.....

Love playing with photo textures...

I bought this chair ages ago and to this day I still haven't made cushions for it.  Any suggestions????

I love her....

I wanted to display these sweet tags that I ordered from etsy.
I just covered the background with linen fabric and doubled taped the tags to the inside.  Pretty cute, um?

This is it for now.
I want to thank of you sweeties for suggesting that I leave the rust on the bistro chairs.  I did.  They are now in my booth at Miss Minnie's.
It just confirmed how you are always right!

~~big hugs~~
Sissie

Those tags are so pretty, Sissie! I think framing them was a good idea. I always see tags I like, but don't order them because I have to think about how I will use them {because, of course, I can't give them away on a gift!}.

Love your little framed pieces at the end.
The white metal chair?
a very simple pillow for seat and leave back showing. it is too beautiful to cover up with pillows.

What fun to meet one of your followers. It will be fun to see pictures of her booth when it is ready. Love that chair...and I kind of like it nekked(;>) but could see it with some towel type pillows with graphics or with some toille pillows...anything you do will be beautiful...so just go for it! Love the little woman (wonder how many little men have said THAT in their lives)...and the tags found the perfect spot to land! xo Diana

Hi Sissie,
You always make the prettiest pillows! The seating area is so inviting!
I'm glad you left the rust on the bistro chairs. I have a feeling they won't be at Miss Minnie's for long!

Pretty pillows and I love that chair. I agree, make a thick cushion for the bottom but the back is too pretty to cover. Is it comfortable?

I love the pillows and yes those tags are gorgeous! About the only thing you can do with that chair is to buy a big thick cushion then you will have to make a box style cover for it, YUK, I hate doing those, unless you could find one ready made. This time of year would be the best time to find it. Can't wait to see pictures of Glorias booth!

Sissie I took some linen pillows I made, they were large, and I just laid them on my porch rockers for cushions and I love how they look. Lazy yes, but very effective! Why do I picture baby blue on that wire chair....

I saw that post over at Dreamy Whites after your post too, and said, hey there's Sissie's chairs! Plain drop cloth pillow would look pretty on the metal chair but my first thought was bark cloth pillows. That would look so sweet. Love the new pillows and I too, love playing with textures! xoxox

Hello sweet Sissie!

I love coming here to visit to see what great things you are up to. I love these pillows. Where did you get the "Bonjour" to put on that one pillow? I love your tag idea! I had bought some pretty ones, and just have them displayed in a basket with some vintage lace. I love your idea to frame them.

Hugs,
Debbie
