My Early Christmas Present....

Hi Bloggerettes!  I'm so excited to show you my early Christmas present!!  I'm warning you.  You are going to have major heart palpatations and a big time crush.  Well maybe not all that, but I know I'm sure feeling that way.

I've wanted this for at least five years now and finally Horchow/Neiman Marcus put it on sale.  A few hints here and there to Mr. Sissie and mission accomplished!

But, before I show you what I'm talking about let's talk about this.....
Check out this oh so pretty and very soft and plush throw.

I finally got out the Christmas decorations and started doing a little decorating.  This year I bought a four foot white tree with lights from Walmart for $25.  I'm think I'll forgo putting up the usual nine footer.  This year I just want to keep it simple.

If you are wondering about this wonderful throw, then I'll tell you a secret.
It's from Walmart and the price....$14.97!!!  Looks really high end, don't ya think?
The colors just seemed perfect for my Christmas theme.

Okay, without further ado, here's my big fat early Christmas present.
This gorgeous Venetian Mirror!!!
I love how it looks over the mantle with my mercury glass candlesticks.
My little tree is still work in progress.  I'm adding a little here and there and hope to have it finished in a few days.  At which time I will show you more.  I've been unwrapping and adding my Christopher Radko ornaments.

Fast forward, two hours later and here's the tree with more stuff.
Gabby also approves of the soft throw.

I placed a few more Christopher Radko ornaments in the bookshelves for some color.
I'm in love with this white reindeer.  I just bought him, couldn't resist.

Okay, that's it for today.
Get out there and make, sew, paint, crochet, knit, alter, photograph, write, paint furniture, create Christmas decorations and find something wonderful and share it with all of us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Hi Sissie! YOur mirror is spectacular! It must make the whole room now, does it? You would have been in heaven at Brimfield there was one dealer who had a tent that was loaded with huge venetian mirrors of all shapes and very detailed. Now of course they were reproduction, not antique, as he had a pile of them. But just sparklelicious! And to think you waited 5 long years for this baby to come home...you must be sooo happy right now!

Everything looks so lovely! That mirror is so pretty--I am so jealous. I want a mirror like that so bad! I'm so glad you got it. Have a great week!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! You are one lucky lady! That mirror is stunning.

I decided to set up a 3 foot tree this year too....with nothing but white moravian stars and tiny snowflakes. My mantel will have more detail, but my tree - simple and wintery.

Good Morning Sissie Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous share today. First off, I simply adore that throw from Wal-Mart and yes it does look high end. I have added that to my list of checks for the week. Especially before they are all sold out.

Your tree is simply divine. I love it. The decorations are so spectacular. I love the green, it is so pretty and just pops in its place of honor.

Love your Christopher Radko ornaments. So, so pretty. Sure did bring your book case to life.

Now that mirror. Oh be still my little heart. I would say you must have been a very GOOD girl this year. Santa was definitely good to you sweetie. It is so glorious above your mantel. The perfect completion. I love it.

Thank you for sharing sweetie. Have a glorious week and Happy Thanksgiving. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

OOO, that mirror.....sooooo swoon-worthy. Just beautiful and it looks like a million bucks over your mantel.
I love your white tree, too. We stopped using a 7 ft tree several yrs ago and use a 4' lighted one...and I LOVE IT so much. So much easier to work with.
I may buy a white one for my kitchen...going to get my turkey at the market today and will stop by Walmart....and if they have that super throw, I'm gonna pull a copy-cat and get it. Thanks, sweet lady, for telling us about it.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving..

Hi Sissie,
Your mirror is truly to die for! What a marvelous Christmas present! Your throw looks so cozy and pretty, too!
As to your sweet tree....that is the size I used last year and I am going to use it again this year. Downsizing is not as easy as it sounds, but minimal is how it will be this year...pretty, but less is more. lol!
Warm Wishes For A Happy Thanksgiving!

You lucky girl, Sis!! LOVE that Venetian mirror and you just KNEW I would!! I haven't been able to keep any Venetians in stock in quite a while now. I soooo want some more! And I love your cute little bottle snowlady in a previous post, too!! Just adorable. I'm with you, just not in the mood to drag out our big tree this year. Hope that doesn't mean I'm getting......old!!!

Hope you and your sweet family have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!

Too stunning! The mirror is fabulous but so is your little tree. I got frustrated last year with our 9 foot tree too. To hard to decorate from a ladder, so I gave it to Goodwill. Now I am thinking what the heck am I going to do? I didn't foresee my son moving home with 2 cats. 5 cats and a live tree do not mix. Those new tall trees are gorgeous but not in the budget, I love your little white tree. That throw too. Hurray for WM!
