Another mirror! Oh yeah!!

Hi Bloggerettes!   I've come to the conclusion that no matter how hard I try, I cannot resist "just one more mirror!"
It's not that I like looking at myself, it's just that I love the way they open up a room, reflect light and take the place of artwork.
This is my newest love....

Very old, very ornate and already painted white...

I'm still trying to decide where I'll hang it.

Okay, that' it for now.  Get out there this week and create, make, sew, write, photograph, cook, bake, repurpose or find something wonderful and share it with all of us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

I love the way mirrors open up a room, too. I don't have a lot but I keep my eyes open for them. I would have snapped this one up, too!

Me too Sissy! I have mirrors everywhere... I can't resist them, and what they do to a room. MrFractured's daughter was here, trying on clothes today, and was going to one of two mirrors in the living room, and pointed out to me that one of them is the "fat" mirror. One of them makes you look thinner than the other... From now on, i'm only gonna look at myself in the "thin" mirror!

I have lots of mirrors too Sissie. I actually had someone come into my house and said it was a sign of vanity and I couldn't believe they said that! I told them it was because it made small rooms look larger and opened up the rooms, made them feel more spacious. I also love the different frames they have! Have a beautiful and reflective Sunday!~Hugs, Patti

I was over on Stephanie's (Angelic Accents) and saw your photo in a comment. When I was blogging before, I visited you. Nice to see you again! And now, especially, your comment on Stephanie's post makes tons of sense. Great mirror. And the ones behind it, have me drooling. What a great idea. I'm thinkin' maybe I need me some shabby cottage mirrors to open up the place (I have a small house). Hmmm, what do you think? Nice to see you again! Jenn

Sissie,
I love this post!
I know what you mean.... I am addicted to wonderul old mirrors. They are simply irrisistible. The aged glass and the beautiful frames are a work of art. I can "always" find a spot for one more.
Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous mirror Sissie! You and I share the mirror obsession! I need more wall space.. LOL

Sissie, I so agree! The reflected light they create is just wonderful. And they're accessories that don't clutter or "fight" with anything else. They just reflect the best of what's in the room.

You have a great collection.

Sissie,
So happy to have you visit me and become a follower. We have much in common! I'm sure we will visit each other often.
I loved the "Baby it's cold outside" post and was wondering if you could share where you found the "Dream" glitter banner? I have looked everywhere for a large one and can't seem to find one. My daughter is getting married in the spring and I wanted to create an enchanting reception for her using the banner or something similar. Any info or suggestions would be welcome.
Best,
Elizabeth

I saw your room on Betsy's Q&A post. Your room is almost identical to mine and the facade of your home is also very like mine. I used a Donald Gardner design and tweaked it a bit.

Love your blog! It's wonderful!
