At the Auction......

I got a few things at the auction that I want to tell y'all about.  Of course everything was a project, but that's the way it works!

Don't know why no one wanted to bid on this shabby, chippy, yummy vintage step stool.  It's in great condition and all I had to do was pull off about ten layers of dirty old vinyl that was covering the top! (sheesh)
Then I dry brushed it with some white paint, leaving as much as the chippy as possible.  I also added the image on the top by printing on
freezer paper and ironing it on.  I'm hoping it will stay and not peel off.

This little metal stool had seen its better days but a little clean up and a new imaged cover is all she needed.

Picked up the pretty little bookcase and painted it a creamy white.

A little bench and a paino bench just needed sanding and painting.

I fluffed up my booth and added a few new things.
Love the shutters.

Okay all you wonderful, darling and talented people....that's it.
Get out this week and create, make, sew, photograph, write,
repurpose, and find something wonderful and share it with all of us.

~~hugs~~

Sissie

Love those make overs. Amazing what a little paint can do, right. The pillows are nice too. Smiles to you, Susie(she Junks)

Great bookcase, Sissie! You are the second person I've seen recently who has scored a little bookcase. I notice because I NEED one! So don't you know, I won't find it! : ) No one else could look past that dirty vinyl stepstool? Thankfully, you are around, Sissie, otherwise these things would never see a new life!

Oh, Sissy, I love LOVE that step stool, so tell us again...You printed the image on freezer paper and ironed it onto the stool? You flipped it, I gather, so it came out right? It looks great! I want to come visit your shop one of these days, but it will be quite a trip for me. Hoping to get out and go somewhere (almost anywhere) this Spring. Happy fluffing!
Hugs,
Sherry

Sissy, I love it all. It amazes me that we see beauty where no one else does, that is because we alter everything for our booths, a lot of work, but the part I enjoy, I am sure if you did a little spray or bush on acrylic the graphics would stay put on the stool

Love all the stools and benches...a person can never have too many of those:) I found a cute set of shelves last week that made me think of you. It's small and has sides that look like a picket fence. I have it in my laundry room right now...trying to figure out where/how to use it. I need you hear to give me your expert advice:)
