Mantel or Mantle.......

Is it mantel or mantle?????
Either way is right and no matter how you spell it....it's fun to decorate.
I very seldom ever change my mantle.
The mercury glass candles will never leave.
I just add a few small things that are indicative of the season.
I love the foil wrapped bunny.  I just hope no one trys to eat him!

The silver bunny is a gift from my Sister.  I love him.
A little flower in a glass bottle and I'm happy...

I moved the french flower basket in front of the fireplace screen for a little added spring look...
I've seen some lovely Spring mantels here in Blogland.
How about you.....have you fluffed your mantel/mantle
for Spring????

~~hugs~~
Sissie

So pretty Sissie, love those bunnies!! The basket filled with flowers looks so pretty on your fireplace screen too! I usually only change out my mantel in the fall and for Christmas.

Your mantel look beautiful. I have a similar bunny from last year and love him!! Yours is adorable. I love your decor all the time it is so shabby elegant just so inviting. I just want to grap a cup of tea and come over to sit and just admire everything. Have a gorgeous Day! Grace xoox

That silver, sequined bunny is just SO glamorous. He looks like he would have gone to Studio 54 with Jerry Hall & Andy Warhol! Beautiful mantle/mantel - inspires me to do something more creative with mine. Alas, it's usually just candlesticks and a clock! x

That little silver bunny works so well on your mantel, Sissie! My fingers seem to go to the "tel" when I'm spelling mantel, so I don't fight it. : ) I actually have a couple of pieces to hang above my mantel, so I'll probably have some pictures of it next week. My son is coming Saturday and I feel like I'm rushing around like a lunatic trying to finish projects, clean and get everything ready for his visit.

Sissie, your mantel is beautiful and I don't blame you for not wanting to change a thing! The bunny you did add fits right in....he's adorable. I love the basket of flowers in front of the fire place. I don't have a fire place but I sure do decorate my little mantel shelf as if it was one! Hope you are having a wonderful day, Gail

Hi Sissie,

I love your mantel....so fresh and pretty.

It is mantel. Mantle is a covering.

Unfortunately, Sissie, I do not have a mantel! But I can admire yours and those of others lucky enough to have one! I love your silver bunny. I have never seen one before. Usually, they are wrapped in gold foil!

I am usually stumped by mantle, as much as I have been with the spelling of it~so glad to see someone is doing something pretty!! Loved the bunnies, I do think those pretend foil wrapped bunnies are very cool.

I have done almost no spring or Easter decorating. I guess it is hard when you have occasional snow, rain storms..the weather has not been inspiring me! Yours looks wonderful though--yours is inspiring me, and that what blogging is all about! :)

However you spell it, I don't have one. It was something I really wanted in a new home and this place had everything else we wanted except a fireplace. Oh, well. I'll just enjoy yours! I'm glad that you enjoy the mercury glass; I love it!

Nancy

Your mantle is gorgeous, are you sure I can't eat that bunny? I just recently did a post about an electric spray painter....Should I have called it paint sprayer?

Alwayhs such lovely photos!
I love the bird pillows. I'm crazy for birds.
