All wired up!

Hi Sweeties!  I'm happy to report that my creative mojo is back and I'm feeling like blogging about it!  I guess you could say that I'm "wired-up!"  Literally wired up....

First you take some chicken wire (ooh this stuff can be difficult to work with) and shape it into a cloche like form.  Gather it at the top and secure with wire.  Start stuffing in some pretty stems and sticks, add a burlap bow and you're off to a good start....
Add a little song bird(get it...song bird...music sheet paper)....put him on a nest and wire him into the chicken wire cloche...
So far, he's lookin good....Oh, add a little tag too for extra cuteness.

Add a thrift store glass cake plate and some hydrangeas from your garden......and things are looking even better.

You could spray paint the chicken wire if you want but I was too lazy to paint mine.  It's still purdy, don't ya think?

                                                ~~hugs~~

I'm joining the party at Coastal Charm's Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays!

Very pretty, Sissie! I love the bird/nest you attached and that tag is great. So glad you got your creative mojo back! : ) I didn't think you'd lost it, but I guess we all feel that way from time to time.

I love it, Sissie. I like it natural better than painted, I think. I will NOT be working with chicken wire myself. My only experience with it left me with scars...what do you mean I'm a klutz? LOL I will admire yours from a distance though- xo Diana

A wonderful idea, and so pretty ,dear Sissie.I love things in chicken wire, but often don`t want to work with it because of its nasty wire-but truly you can do so many wonderful things with it, like you did here. And the bird and hydrangea are the sweetest decoration.
Hugs and love,Dorthe

Very cute! So are the pillows in your previous post. Sometimes it's just difficult to fit it all in and still find time to blog. But then I start to miss it so much. So wonderful to talk to you again.
