Trying out some new chalk paint and creating with burlap

While on my recent trip to The Depot, I picked up a few samples of Ce Ce Caldwell's Chalk/Clay Paints.  This little ladder back chair was so boring, so I thought I'd experiment with the color Alaskan Tundra.

I really like this paint.  It really covered well and went on smoothly.

Love this burlap pillow that I made too.  I added a burlap ribbon bow for some extra cuteness....

Created a few small burlap pillows with images....

I'm headin out today to some nearby antique shops in hopes of finding something wonderful.  If I do you can bet that you will be the first to see.

Dear Sissie:

That blue is amazing. I have been reluctant to use the chalk paint because I didn't want to have to pay for shipping but if The Depot carries this brand, I just may try it. Did you have to prime and use the wax on it?
Your pillows are adorable. Have a great weekend!
