Pretty Little Bench

Hi Lovely Bloggerettes!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend and you are ready to seize the new week.
I have a few little projects to show you but first of all the auction was a total bust.  Nothing there for me.  But I did find this little bench.
Once again I was so anxious to paint it that I didn't get a before picture.  Let's just say it was dark wood with an ugly tapestry fabic top.
I fell in love with the legs and all the little scrolly detailing...
I've had this fabulous grain sack for a long time and just couldn't bring myself to cut it....that is until now....

It has a few small spots on it here and there but hey, it's old.
I have a few spots, myself!
I'm not sure I can part with this one, just look how pretty it looks in my living room.
I think I'll ask my resident designer if I should keep it or not...
Oh well, no response.  She's too busy lounging and looking lovely.

I'm still loving this aqua blue in my living room.  I found this pretty bottle and I think it's perfect with the mercury glass.

Well that's it for now.  Remember it's a new week so get out there and create, make, sew, bake, photograph, paint, write, fluff and find something wonderful and share it with us!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Oh I love it, I know we hate to use the good stuff!! I think that bench was worthy though! Gizzy, she won't give you advise, but she will let you know as soon as you make a design mistake!

It looks lovely in your room, but, sometimes we have to part with our newly bought treasures... So we can hunt for more! That said it would be awfully hard to let it go. Live with it and love it until you find something you love more.

Great redo. I love the bench, and you found a perfect use for the feedsack. Some lucky someone is going to snap that up the minute they see it.
