Filling up the Townhouse

Hi Sweeties!  As you know we are living in a townhouse while our house is on the market.  We have furnished it with some of our stuff and my plan was to be as minimal as possible!!!!! Not, not, not.....I'm starting to fill it up faster than you can say Sissie's Shabby Cottage. I just can't help myself....it's a gift....and a curse!

Everyone needs a cute table to place in front of their sofa....right?
When I found this little cutie all painted, shabby and curvy I had to have it.....
My sister bought me the pretty wooden tray.....perfect!

This place is starting to feel more like home.  But I do need to remind myself that it's just temporary and doesn't need to be perfect.
Um, I just noticed I need something under that cloche.  I better check with Marty!

I'm trying to get a space at a local antique mall and with the help of two special people I just might get my foot in the door.  Thanks Debbie and Sue!!!

So here I go again.  My sister has taken over Sooper Sistas and now it's time to put Sissie's Shabby Cottage back into action.

                                              ~~hugs~~

Bloom where you are planted....so as long as you are in the Townhouse...it should be home...and it is starting to look that way!

It is looking like home. When we rented a temporary apt while we were redoing this house I decorated it just like I would if I were living there permanently. The manager called all the time to see if they could show our apartment as the "model". You are right-collecting stuff is a blessing and a curse!

Good luck on starting up a new shop- xo Diana

Love your table, Sissie! The tray looks pretty too. I can see a sweet little birdie's nest under your cloche. It would look darling! Now mind you, I'm craving springtime right now. ;) Your room looks really pretty.

Hi Sissie,
Oh I just love your room and the table with the tray is wonderful. Finding treasures already painted is always the best.
Best wishes on your new booth space. Brings back many years of memories for me in the antique markets.
Loved your basket post below too. I am loving baskets too and been white washing a few and what a difference. I got that Pottery Barn catalog too and it was inspirational.

Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comment. Have a great Thursday.
Big hugs, Celestina Marie

Oh I don't blame you one bit for needing that little table! It's gorgeous!!! I always say I'm going to simplify and have less "stuff" too...never seems to happen though! I hope your house sells soon but enjoy your temporary little space for now:)

I couldn't stand it either...and that table will make you happy every time you walk in the room and see it. And if it wasn't there....well what would you do? You wouldn't be happy! So it is simple deduction. You had to have the table! Yay!
Blessings,
Debbie

Ha! Sissie you're back in the saddle for sure. I love your rug, and your sofa, and the pillows on the sofa and the table... all of it! The room looks awesome. It even sounds like you're happier than you've been in a while. Plus, you're going to start putting stuff in a booth soon!? Cool!
Seeeee, you did the exact right thing by moving back!
