Sea Shell Box

Hi Sweeties, hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

When you live near the ocean you just naturally gravitate to all
things coastal... not tacky coastal stuff but beautiful things from the sea.
Like sea shells....

So if you have an over abundance of sea shells then why not come up with something pretty in which to show them off...

Find a wooden box, paint "sea shells" on the side and ta-da!

Perfect!!!!!
Did you notice that I re-framed from using the  phrase
"She Sell Sea Shells by the Seashore"
I'm good that way.

That's it for now.  It's a new week so get out there and make, create, sew, photograph, write, repurpose, whatever your passion. And, if you find something wonderful be sure to share it with us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

When I was Florida I saw these kind of boxes for sale without shells...but with the writing...for about $40.00. I thought they were so cute....

Oh, I love this. I was daydreaming about how to find a special container to show off some of my prettiest shells. I don't really want to use glue and mount them. This is a fabulous idea! Thanks!

Dear Sissie,
I hope your Easter was lovely,-
the box is beautifully painted and decorated, and it is such fun to collect pieces from the beach.

Such a pretty idea, Sissie! My boys love collecting beach glass with my husband. He takes them to the beach and they all hunt down beach glass and cool shells. Something like this would be perfect for them!

I LOVE that! What a pretty pretty box of seashells. And i notice how you DIDN'T refrain from saying "She sells seashells down by the seashore" Which is exactly what you are doing!

I love sea shells. I have a few in my bathroom...and they always remind me of growing up by the beach in Southern California. Now that I live in Kansas I really miss the beach! Love your pretty sea shell box Sissie!

Sissie this is perfect. I love the idea of putting a collection in a container of its own. The soft color is lovely too!

Sissie,
Thanks for my first laugh of the day (it's 7 here). To me there is nothing better than a good seashell display. Love the tray you put them in too.

PS Love those pillows a few posts back. I still have my Sissie Pillow displayed.
