Spring time and new booth ready to go

Just a little something that says Spring is on the way.  What's cuter than a galvanized bucket (very hot item in decor these days!) Add some lavender, a burlap bow with a little bling and you end up with a pretty darn cute arrangement....nes pa?

This pretty piece along with several other things made their way to my new booth.  The new shop called "Shops Of 424 North Howe" in Southport, NC, will open this Friday.

Here's a few pics of my space.  I'm going for more of a shabby farmhouse style.  I believe that shabby chic style is slowly evolving into a totally different look...only time will tell...

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Get out there and create, sew, write, photograph, paint, cook or find something wonderful and share it with all of us.

                                                ~~hugs~~

It looks beautiful! I think you are right about the shabby chic look, it had adapted a bit. I am still waiting for the dark gloomy primitive look to go out!

It looks fabulous Sissie! I've been noticing retro design is gaining lots of popularity so trying to branch out a bit as well but I will never be able to travel too far away from shabby chic! :)

Time has passed and it has been awhile since I've visited my once upon a time Queen in Training! I see you are still making the world gorgeous with your own unique special touch.

My life has evolved too and I'm still filling my booth with cute vintage toys but I have not bought any, rather selling much of what I have. A small part of me has grown up and is moving on. I was really stuck in my childhood as you know!

I am back to working with seniors as an activity director rather than a marketing director but I have recently found a home party plan company I really really love. It is called Celebrating Home and they offer wonderful stoneware and art and metal baskets etc and soy candles but beyond that, they have just brought on a new line called Penelope Ann. You can see some of the cute purses etc...on my blog. Come take a peek Sissie if you have free time.

I have not forgotten you. Your booth is wonderful. I know it will do really well and what fun to be a vendor in a new business! Awesome!
