A few things around Sissie's Shabby Cottage...

Hello beautiful Bloggers!  I can just imagine how busy y'all have been.  Tis the Season.  So before I go spending hours looking at your blogs I thought I'd share a few things around here at Sissie's Shabby Cottage.

Here's a look at my dining room table.  And yes I gave up the white this year and have gone gaga over traditional reds and greens!! My inspiration came from these gorgeous ornaments.

The little white skinny tree has been around for awhile but the retro ornaments are Christopher Radko.  Found them at Home Goods for a fabulous price!
We've been in our new house now for about three months but it's a long way from being fully decorated.  I'll just show you little glimpses here and there until it shapes up.

I've made several of these hanging burlap bags for my booth and they are selling!

This bag is my attempt to copy one that I saw on Pinterest.  I'm not  sure who originally designed this but if you know please let me know and I'll give them all the credit.  My version isn't quite as pretty as theirs...
Okay, that's it for now.  Get out there this week and create, make, bake, sew, write, photograph and find something wonderful and share it with us!

                                        ~~hugs~~
                                  Sissie

Sissie,
I really like your tree, and those ornaments are amazing! Love them. I was going to only use turquoise, silver, and white, but the red and green won out! Now I have some of both! Have a great week!

Pretty ornaments, Sissie! I love the colors against the background of your home. That reindeer is cute, too. Love the bags! I did a couple of small ones out of dropcloth and Osnaberg remnants. I'm bringing them to my booth tomorrow. It was a good project for those small pieces of fabric that really had no other use.

So, so pretty Sissie! It doesn't matter where you lived; could be a cardboard box and you'd make it look lovely. I've been in my new home for almost 2 years and I still don't have everything up on the walls!

Hey Sissie! I'm sooo missing posts these days... god, it's so frustrating!
I'm craving that touch of the warm yummy reds right now too.. It's weird to me how i will just get this random craving to be around a certain color, and lately it's been this warm red!
I love your ornaments. They really pop with all the whites. The red in them is perfect and so is the green... And of course your little bags are selling, they're adorable, just like everything you do!
