Got A Leg Up At the Auction!

Getting a leg up at the auction....Yep, I sure did.
Got a leg up on the competition at the Auction or....got a leg at the auction....or as Mr. Sissie asked, "why did you buy that?  It looks like a leg."

Actually I wasn't the only one who wanted this leg.  A few tried to outbid me but I was determined this was going home with me.

Somewhere there is a massive piece of furniture missing it's leg!

Makes a great architectural statement.  Don't you think?

Look at it this way.  Someday I might find the other three!

Would you have bid on it?  What would you do with it?

I love it Sissie! I would cut the twirly piece off the top and either use it in a vignette leaning up against the wall or even hang it on the wall and use it as a sconce.

I have a feeling you know exactly what you are going to do with this and I can't wait to see!

It could certainly be a statement piece, Sissie! I was going to suggest what Martina did ~ remove the screw from the stop and use it as a sconce or shelf.

I probably would have gone up to about $25 on it (unless I knew exactly what I was going to do with it). I know- I'm cheap. lol It is a great piece though. I could even see it being used as a "base" for a wall hung shelf. xo Diana
