Lazy Summer Days.

I'm not going to make up a bunch of excuses as to why I haven't blogged lately....so here goes...

I think the kitties have pretty much summed up the lazy summer days spent on the back porch...

In the meantime I am still on the lookout for things for my booth.  Things that I can repurpose.  I found this little table top dress form, gave it a paint job and covered it with an old doilie and added a cute pendant.  Love!

I've had this pretty fabric in my stash for quite some time and I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it...that is until I spotted this forlorn little bench...

 The perfect match....don't you think?

The bench got a nice Behr paint in gray with a chalk paint white wash.  The pretty pillow was found at Pier1 and was on sale.
Oh, and it's Gizzy approved too!
It's in my booth at the Calabash Marketplace in Calabash, NC.

Well, that's all I have except to say how very much I appreciate each and everyone of you.  I've also enjoyed reading your blogs and checking out all your delish projects.

So, I'll leave you with my usual....get out there this week and create, make, sew, write, photograph, bake, craft and find something wonderful and share it with us!

                                             ~~hugs~~
                                              Sissie

Your kitties look so happy and relaxed there, I had no idea you were on your own little pond/lake/ fishing hole (ha!). Just a wonderful view!!

Hi Sissie! If I had your views I would be doing more of what your kitties are up to! Blogging is a challenge this time of year. But you have been busy with some lovely projects. Love the beach themes you have going on!

Oh my gosh, your back porch looks right out onto the water. That is just too wonderful. I love the little bench, the fabric is delightful and looks like they were made to go together. I love the photo of you on the side too. Your hair looks longer... it's a great shot...

If I had your view from my porch, I don't think I'd do much blogging either! Love the bench you transformed with the oh so cute fabric.
