A few more projects to share.

Not much going on around Sissie's Shabby Cottage.  I've just been doing the usual after the Holidays, cleaning, purging and organizing.  I'm also making plans to freshen up my booth with some new things.
My first project was to glam up some plain linen pillows....

I added burlap rosettes and a plain burlap rose.  Now I'm thinking I need to cut off that stem!
I found this french style cabinet in my friend Debbie's booth.  She sold it to me at a great price!  (thanks Deb).  I painted it Behr's creamy white and distressed it a little around the edges.  For now it's sitting in my entryway but who knows where it will be next week!
I couldn't resist these cute little sheep that I found at Tuesday Mornings.  I added some ribbon and some paper butterflies.
So there you have it!  Mr. Sissie has been having some health problems and spent some time in the hospital so I've been looking after him.  Luckily he is on the mend.

In the meantime I urge you to get out there and create, sew, write, photograph, blog, bake, paint, repurpose or find something and share it with all of us!

                                             ~~hugs~~
                                              Sissie

These pillows are gorgeous...the trim really stands out. The cabinet...love it. Just love the soft colors you surround yourself with.

So sorry about Mr. Sissie, I'm glad to hear he is on the mend.

I've always wanted to try Zumba classes, my gym offers them. I really need to get walking/running again first because my lungs actually get out of shape from my asthma. Cardio involving my upper body is the hardest on my lungs. I've heard that Zumba is a lot of fun though. :)

Hi Sissie! Love those adorable sheep! The little French chest is a beauty too. I love the white of course, but you have also styled it so beautifully. Glad to hear that your man is on the mend!

I'm sorry to hear your hubby has been having health problems, Sissie. I hope he is doing better! I love the painted cabinet! It is gorgeous, and so are the pretty flowers you added to your pillows. I was going to respond to the comment you left on my post, but you are a no reply. Anyway, thanks so much for your sweet words. I know all too well about yo-yoing!

Sissie,
You are a girl after my own heart. I love your pillows! I too.... like to take plain things (pillows, lamp shades, etc) and glam them up.
Well wishes to your hubby.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Warmly,
Elizabeth
