Staying on the "Frenchy" theme y'all! I found four perfectly white placemats at the thrift and decided they needed a little somethin, somethin....so, french images from Graphics Fairy to the rescue...
There in my booth ready to go....

These salt and pepper shakers are vintage reproductions.
I just love the look.
My kitchen is very happy since I added them to the tray.
Here on the coast we are all waiting to see what happens with Hurricane Irene and hoping she blows out to sea.

Are you guys ready for Irene, Sissie? I always think of all my Carolina friends this time of year. Yes, we're all going to see a something on the east coast, but the Carolinas stick out there in nerve-wracking fashion.

Oooh, la, la, Sissie! I love all things French (of course!) and your placemats are perfection! Maybe sometime you can divulge your secret to making them? Iron on transfer, maybe? I've not yet been brave enough to try it. Anyway, they won't last long in your booth:)
