Beautiful Week.....

Wanna see my over-the-top, 2die4, drop-dead-gorgeous, piece de re'sistance....of course you do.  Ta...da........

When Dianne brought this into the shop it was love at first sight!
Didn't she do a beautiful job restoring this piece to its current loveliness.

Another project that I tackled last week was this little cabinet.
This is a corner in the bathroom that needed a little something.
I painted the cabinet paris gray and dry brushed it with white.

The shutters were $1. each and all they needed  was some paint and distressing.  They seemed like the perfect thing to add to the cabinet top.

Okay that's it.
Get out there this week and create, make, paint, photograph, write, cook, repurpose or find something wonderful and share it with us.

~~hugs~~

  4. Great table, Sissie! I just saw one of these, too, but it didn't look as pretty and I kind of just gave it a passing glance. Love the cabinet and shutters in your bathroom. I have a wall like that in ours and right now I have a simple stool on that wall. I love this idea though!

  43. You have such beautiful things, Sissie. I just love feasting my eyes on all the eye candy on your blog. That little table certainly is 2die4. It's marvelous. And the little bathroom cabinet is so original. I love the idea of the shutters on top and I love that gray and I agree with the blogger who said she likes the name of the paint colour. Everytime I read "create, make, paint, photograph, write, cook, repurpose," I feel so energized. Crazy, eh! But, those words of yours are so motivating!

  54. Yep, that table is F.A.B.! It can be dangerous walking into the shop and buying from other vendors! Your shutter cabinet is great too, very beachy. I am also loving the blues and grays in your home. That's what's so wonderful about your color pallatte, it's neutral and you can change the accent pieces on a whim and a fancy!
