Creating a Luxurious Bath....

Hi cutie patooties!!!!
I want to show you a little closer look at the newly remodeled bathroom.
Even though the house is going to be up for sale I can at least enjoy the new bath for  another month and then we are off to a rental on the coast.  We will stay there until the house sales and then start house hunting.

I love that you can step out of the shower and grab your cuddly terrycloth robe.....

Also lovin the new monogrammed  bath towels from Pottery Barn....

Lovin the matching bath mat too...

I wanted everything to be white and creamy colors.  The marble top on the vanity is so pretty and I love the combination of soap and hand cream from Home Goods....

Found the frenchy metal containers at Home Goods too...
All in all it's a pretty luxurious bath that can be easily created using
beadboard, cottage style vanities and chrome.  Just throw in some white plushy towels and cottage accessories and you've got it!
What's your dream bathroom look like???????????????

Hi Sissie,

I am a new follower and I just found your blog. I love all of your home it looks so pretty! We moved away from our home town and then because of work we had to move back three years later...it definitely is not the same..but now we have been back for three years and we like it again. It just took time to adjust, although I would go back to the other town in a heart beat :) if I could....

Happy New Year,
Amy Jo

Lovely bathroom. It looks very relaxing. You sound so happy, Sissie. That's good. We only live once! All I know about my dream bathroom is that it would be much bigger than the one I have now. Way, way, way bigger! I do know that I would have white and pastels.

Oh, this is so pretty, Sissie! I think having whites in the bathroom is just the perfect idea...it's gives such a clean feeling. I love monogrammed towels, too. I am ready to check out all the white sales for them.

Hapy 2013!

it's beautiful, Sissie! It's gonna be hard to leave a bathroom like that, but I'm glad you're heading back to North Carolina! We've missed you!

Your bathroom is lovely! Perfect neutrals to make it easy to sell. My dream bathroom would have a clawfoot tub and the vanity with little Queen Anne feet. The rest of the family doesn't agree with my dream bathroom :)

Everything looks so fresh and clean! I am loving whites and golds right now too. I read in a previous post you have made the decision to move back to North Carolina. I truly hope you will finally be happy and content again. Even though I don't know you very well, I could tell through your blogging "voice" that things were a bit off for you. I just thought it was the move and remodel.

Happy New Year to you and I wish you a quick and painless move back to North Caroline, where your heart lies!

Oh yes, I could spend hours in there pampering myself, it looks so luxurious and elegant and inviting.

Well, with a bathroom as pretty as that, it shouldn't take long for the house to sale! I love all the creams and whites too. Your Home Goods finds look like they were made for the bathroom, and the monogram bath mat really makes it luxurious!

I came over to catch up, and was surprised to read about the news that you are moving back to your old home state. I hope I'm not making a mistake wanting to move back "home".

My requirements for a luxurious bathroom are mainly two things: space and details. And I love how you personalize the space with every detail in there. The towels, the rags and the vanities! It isn’t overdone, just enough touch of class. Anyhow, I would love to see pictures showing the bathroom in full view. ^.^
