I've been working on a few projects for my booth spaces.
This antique 1940's vanity has great bones, but the old dark stain just wasn't what we modern day vintage lovers are looking for. So, with the help of some Faux Real Mineral and chalk paint, in the color Grigio, I transformed this pretty girl.
This antique vanity now takes center stage...
I distressed it and dry brushed some white to soften the finish.
It's in my shop space at Fancy Flea 2 waiting on a new home.
My next project was another 1940's antique wardrobe. Again, it was the dark stain that was typical for furniture produced in that era. I painted it with Faux Real Mineral and Chalk paint in the color Bella. I used a dark wax to soften the color and distressed it in various places. It's also in my shop space at Fancy Flea 2.

Beautiful paint colors- I especially love the vanity. I have never tried this brand of paint. If I did not own stacks of hat boxes, I would certainly want a JDL one - fabulous.
