Bed Crowns!

Hi Bloggerettes!  I've been day dreaming about pretty bedrooms ever since I found this lovely bed crown.  I started imagining what if.....
Here's the bed crown....
And here's the inspiration rooms....

Oh, how I want this painting!
Love all the pretty and different choices of fabrics used in this bedroom.

I took the bed crown to my booth at Miss Minnie's and it sold the next day.  Darn.  I wanted to keep it!

Okay, gotta go work on the nightmare chair!

~~hugs~~

  1. Oooh, I love the simplicity of the first bedroom's crowns and I'll take the chandy and the bedding along with it, Sissie! I'd love to do one of those over a daybed I have in our spare bedroom. I think it would look so pretty.

  5. Sissie, I am telling you toss that stupid chair! LOL I am tossing around making a bed crown for my bedroom. So glad I was able to get that bed crown for so cheap! I'm just kidding you, I didn't buy it. I wish I had, it would have been the motivation I needed

  11. I love bed crowns too, Sissie. The ones you have pictured are so dreamy! There's a great article about them in the latest issue of Romantic Country magazine. And I always thought those vintage Syroco shelves would make the perfect crowns! Now you will just have to find another one for yourself:)

  15. Love the atmosphere of that first room and the painting is lovely! Good luck with the chair. Everytime I get a wild hair about doing something right then and there, no matter what, I always wind up making a bigger mess. :/ Have a good day! Tammy

  17. Hi Sissie, I have made one custom bed crown~it is called a coronet! I think that was very smart of you to add a pic of what someone could do with that shelf to convert it to such a pretty thing!! I love that image the most!

  18. Oh, that crown is heavenly! I just read your chair post! Ha ha, put that chair in timeout! Go back to it when you have a tiny drop of loving feelings for it....you can do it! Plus, I think it is pretty cute how it turned out!

  21. I have been saving a curvy and ornate shelf that I have for the very same thing, once I paint the bedroom. I love your inspiration photo... that is just what I am dreaming of! I can't believe you took that beauty to the booth, I bet it was snatched up in minutes! Your nightmare chair turned out so sweet, just perfect for the beach cottage. I love blogland as much as you mentioned, never and i mean NEVER have I met so many amazingly talented people that all 'get' eachother. Happy Wednesday Sissie! t. xoxo

  22. The bed crown is beautiful! I have seen those before but didn't know what they were called. I defintely would have kept it for my own bedroom! Now I think I'll have to keep my eye out for one to use at home in Arizona.
