Hi Bloggerettes! What did I do Christmas eve....why painted my dining room chairs of course!!! With all the holiday shopping, decorating and cooking out of the way, I managed to have a little down time. So, what better to do than paint something!!
These chairs have been dark mahogany too long. So, a little heirloom white and I'm loving them.

Two down and two to go!
Okay, time to get ourselves back in the groove. So get out there and create, sew, photograph, paint, craft, write, repurpose or find something wonderful and share it with all of us.
~~hugs~~
Sissie

Gorgeous rework on the chairs, Sissie! You're so inspirational! I'm going to paint the guest room before Tag gets back from doggie Boot Camp (Jan. 11th) I'm just trying to decide on the color and then I'll be on my way.

I just love these chairs !!!! Should I dare try the same to mine ????? How long did it take you to finish the two chairs (including, I guess, sanding and priming before painting) ?

My goodness, you are so inspiring! I think you've given me the push I needed to carry on with all my chores! Your paint job on the chairs is just perfect! I'm so happy that I discovered your blog, Sissie. You have so much energy! I feel that it's transmitting to me and I love it because I needed that so badly!
ReplyDeleteLove the chairs white! I am starting to feel like I can do normal things again...like painting everything I own white:)! Hope you have a Happy New Years!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous back on those chairs, Sissie! Love the Heirloom White. I've got a few projects to get to; a couple I'd like to do before New Years Eve because we are having people over.
ReplyDeleteThe chairs look darling. I had to laugh at when you said you painted these. I had a little down time this past week and I so wanted to paint the basement stairway. I did not say this out loud to Mr. M. as I know I would first get THE LOOK and then he would say are you crazy? So I held back, but now I am ready to tackle this project. Yes I am ready to get crafting and being creative.
ReplyDeleteYou are something else.
