Christmas in Our Neighborhood

I thought that I would share some pictures of houses in our neighborhood that have decorated for Christmas. I live in a resort, coastal area in a golf course community. The residents of the community often have homes in the north as well as here, and only spend their summers here on the coast.
I drove around today trying to find some homes that were decorated and the following pictures show simple holiday decor.  I was kinda dissappointed but nevertheless, the insides of their homes might be more festive.

Last, but not least, is my house.  I only have wreaths on the glass doors, pine and greenery in the urns and silver balls.  Also a little snowman holding a burlap bag.
The pictures do not do these home justice.  They are so much prettier in real.

Today was cloudy, so the pictures aren't great.  Hope you enjoy.

Just wanted yall to see this monstrosity.......no signs of Holiday decor....what's up with that?

I promise to come up with something much more creative than this in a few days.  I'm thinking I have creative bloggers block.
In the meantime, hugs to everyone.

What a beautiful community to live in. The homes are so lovely. I feel wreaths with ribbons are just enough outside. I have greatly enjoyed this post.

Oh, I SO want to live in your neighborhood. What absolutely beautiful homes. Reminds me of Brentwood and Franklin, Tennessse.

You have a beautiful home, Sissie!

Thank you for taking a drive and taking pictures for us!

There's only one house on our block that has lights up (and nope, it isn't us, LOL)

Hugs,
Marsha

Sissie I loved the tour girl. I think you live in a beautiful place. So unlike where I live. It really is fun to see.

The 1st, 2nd and 5th all look exactly like homes my parents have built over the years. I miss those houses, but they've downsized due to health and financial issues.

Such a beautiful neighborhood!

Bonjour SIssie! THank you so much for the tour. What a lovely neighborhood. THis brings back all those specail memories of piling into the car to see all the neighbors lights when I was a kid - they don't really do that here in Paris, but we can admire all the monuments and stores! Your beautiful home is my favorite! Your blog has become a real treat for me to visit!
Wishing you a fabulous week!

Hi Sissie, Is this your neighborhood? The houses are lovely! I would have imagined people decorating outdoors just a bit more myself, but time and money are tight, so maybe the indoors is where it stops!

Why don't you knock on a few doors and ask for a tour so you can post photos in your blog. Someone is bound to go for it.... :)
